June has been a busy month for South Florida basketball players.

With the NCAA dead period lifted, prospects from around the area have been receiving offers from schools around the country. Furthermore, it has given exposure for others to showcase their skills and garner interest.

2023 Sami Elkamel Sami Elkamel 6'8" | PF Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian | 2023 State FL has received interest from East Tennessee State, Western Carolina, South Dakota State, IUPUI, Princeton and Harvard. The 6-foot-8 forward runs with SOH Elite. Elkamel has solid frontcourt size at 220 pounds and finishes well around the basket. I expect him to be a tough rebounder as well given his frame. Elkamel should continue to blossom at one of the top programs in the state.
