On Friday morning Gatorade announced that Joe Hurlburt Joe Hurlburt 6'10" | PF Enderlin | 2022 State #147 Nation MN from Enderlin was named the North Dakota Boys Basketball Player of The Year. The award distinguishes Joe as the best high school basketball player in ND for the 2020-2021 season. The is a very big honor as only 3 other Class B players have ever won the award. Hurlburt is also only the 3rd player to win the award as a junior. Enderlin’s head coach is Calvin Kraft, his older brother Travis Kraft won the award back in 1999. Joe Hurlburt Joe Hurlburt 6'10" | PF Enderlin | 2022 State #147 Nation MN has committed to play division 1 basketball at the University of Colorado. Stat-wise Joe put up impressive numbers in his junior season. 22.6 ppg, 14.3 rpg, 4.9 apg ,1.4 spg, 1.5 bpg, shot 66% from 2 (148-225), shot 37% from 3 (39-105). Hurlburt has had a nice spring in AAU ball, he plays with D1 Minnesota. Joe and the Eagles will have one major goal next season. Winning Region-1 and making a State Tournament appearance.
