Colin Ackerman Colin Ackerman 6'0" | PG Wall | 2022 State NJ , 6’0 PG Wall 2022
Ackerman had a great showing at practice as he was able to display his ability to affect the game in multiple ways. The 6’0 floor general played with poise on the ball and was able to use his handle to get to the basket. Ackerman did well during the live sessions as he pushed the tempo nicely and very rarely made bad decisions. He moved his feet well on the defensive end and had a good showing during the defensive drills. Ackerman is a gritty two-way guard who should have a strong July.
Luke Farrell Luke Farrell 6'6" | SF St. Rose | 2022 State NJ , 6’6 SF/PF St. Rose 2022
Farrell had a strong practice as he showed his versatile skillset. The 6’6 forward has a strong frame, which he uses to attack the basket and finish. Farrell is a solid passer who has the ability to start the offense from the top of the key. He slid his feet well on the defensive end and has the ability to defend multiple positions on the floor. Farrell is one of the more underrated players in the Shore Conference and is ready for a breakout July period.
Jack Dougard Jack Dougard 6'5" | SF Brick Township | 2022 State NJ , 6’5 SF Brick Township 2022
Dougard had a solid practice as he was able to make plays in the half court. The 6’5 wing has a nice handle, which he used to get by his defender and finish around the basket. Dougard wastes little motion in his jumper and his range extends past the three-point line. He is an underrated passer and had a good showing in the defensive drills. If Dougard is able to maintain his play from practice during the live period, his stock should continue to rise.
Brian Farrell Brian Farrell 6'1" | SG Donovan Catholic | 2023 State NJ , 6’2 SG Donovan Catholic 2023
Farrell had a good showing in the drills and continued his strong play during the game sessions. The 6’2 guard went to the basket with a purpose and finished well around the rim. Farrell did not force shots during the games and moved well without the ball. He performed well during the defensive drills as he moved his feet and has a good sense of help defense. Farrell has the opportunity for a big July with his ability to get to the basket and finish.
Colin Haluska Colin Haluska 6'3" | SF Matawan | 2023 State NJ , 6’3 SF Matawan 2023
Haluska played with confidence during the practice as he stood out on the 16U side. The 6’3 wing was at his best going downhill as defenders could not stop him from getting into the lane and finishing around the basket. Haluska did more than just attack the basket during the practice as he has a nice release on his jumper and does not waste motion in his form. He did well during the game sessions as he did not force the issue in the half court and moved well off the ball. Haluska’s ability to make plays in multiple ways is something that should help his stock as the summer months roll on.
