The lineup that will be in attendance from the in-state schools is top notch, but there is an impressive line-up making their way to Utah from different states around the country looking for a quality run in quality venues.
With teams like Balboa Prep (CA), Colorado Prep, Coronado (NV), Elko (NV), Team Rampage (CA) to name a few. Colorado Prep should be a fun team to watch as they played well in the Grind Session with a lot of notable players including tough guard Langston Reynolds. Elko brings a veteran team that will be lead by one of the top scorers in Nevada in Michael Klekas.
We will get a look at what Timpview is cooking up with a new coach and a new look James Rust James Rust 6'5" | CG Timpview | 2023 State UT as well. Corner Canyon ushers in a new regime led by Max Toombs Max Toombs 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2023 State UT , Tyler Burraston Tyler Burraston 6'4" | SG Corner Canyon | 2022 State UT and Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT . Pleasant Grove will be lead by Jordan Ross Jordan Ross 6'3" | PG Link Academy | 2023 #132 Nation MO and McCaden Adams McCaden Adams 6'3" | CG Pleasant Grove | 2022 State UT who are both having a great Spring. RSL Academy will be another team to watch as they have a handful of talented players that will surely turn heads. Look for Taki Uluilakepa Taki Uluilakepa 6'0" | PG RSL Academy | 2023 State UT , David Katoa David Katoa 6'4" | CG Layton | 2024 State #255 Nation UT and Adam Stewart Adam Stewart 6'11" | C RSL Academy | 2022 State UT will pace this tough RSL Academy squad.
There are a few exciting teams to watch in Farmington which will be lead by Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT who is a top prospect in Utah. Davis High School is bringing back almost everyone and they will have two players to really keep an eye on in Henry Ihrig and Rex Sunderland Rex Sunderland 6'4" | PG Davis | 2022 State UT . Bingham is another team that looks to reload as they lost some key players. They will be lead by Kam Dupaix Kam Dupaix 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT , Devin Carlson Devin Carlson 6'8" | SF Bingham | 2022 State UT and Ace Reiser Ace Reiser 6'0" | PG Alta | 2024 State UT . American Fork will have a solid group returning led by Jaxon Kohler Jaxon Kohler 6'9" | PF Southern California Academy | 2022 #49 Nation CA-S , Evan Young Evan Young 5'11" | PG American Fork | 2022 State UT and Yaw Reener. Cyprus could be a team that could really pop in this event as Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT , Justus Fobbs-Jackson and Diego Mulford Diego Mulford 5'10" | PG American Fork | 2024 State UT all return with some great experience.
There is a lot of young talent across the state to watch, don’t sleep on some of these JV games as well as some of the teams in the 8th and 7th grade divisions.
