Kenoly Jones Kenoly Jones 5'10" | PG Stevenson | 2022 State MI is an exciting playmaker that, in my opinion, is very underrated and has a nice upside. He’s a player worth taking note of for coaches at the next level. Let’s take a look at him as a prospect and some of my notes from his film.

STRENGTHS
– Solid start-stop speed, able to gain straight line speed and momentum quickly
– Pull up jumper – He takes a jump stop, gathers himself and gets balanced, then fires off the shot with confidence.
– Multiple catch and shoot triples – Can hit from well beyond the arc, Jones doesn’t take a prep dribble, and can hit it even with defender closing out well.
– Comfortable creating off the dribble on the right side of the floor. Jones seems to like to work from the wing to the baseline looking for cracks in the D.
– Jones likes to push the pace with the dribble and look for advantages or easy buckets in transition.
– He’s a tough finisher with his right hand, especially when working his way to the right side of the floor.
– Jones can finish at the rim with creativity and body control in traffic.
– He’s a bouncy or herk and jerk type player that’s tough to defend if you’re not naturally athletic enough or don’t have a high basketball IQ on the defensive end.
WHAT TO WORK ON
– Find more spots on the floor: Jones knows where he’s comfortable and where he wants to be, but if he expanded that a bit and created more options for himself, he’d have even more opportunities.
– Work on the left: Jones is a dynamic playmaker with his right. If he was more of a threat to go left or work left, his numbers could explode.
