These young men have such bright future, and as we look forward to getting back to a normal season here are a few player to look out for. Here are just a few of the top players from the class of 2023.
Cayden McDaniel Cayden McDaniel 6'3" | CG BFL Prep | 2023 State WA https://www.hudl.com/profile/14113481/Cayden-McDaniel
McDainel is a 6’2 Sophomore Guard from Wilson Highschool, who is scored 27.2 points per game. He has had 3 high scoring games last week scoring 30 points, he also has a season high of 36. In only his sophomore season McDaniel has shown he can score the basketball and has become a great leader on the court. Leading his team is a undefeated season he has shown his strengths on both ends of the floor. This young man is so much fun to watch and is going to come back even better next year.
Morgan Anderson
Anderson is a 6’2 Sophomore from Raymond Highschool, who scored 19 points per game and grabbed 5.9 rebounds. Ander had a season high of 42 points in a tough 4 point win, and shooting 15 of 23 on the night. Although he does need to work on ball protection he shows a lot of potential. Sometimes it is easy to forget he is only a sophomore, he plays with such high intensity. This is a big off season for him as he works on his foot work he will be a tough player to defend.
Keon Dewalt https://www.hudl.com/profile/13973363/Keon-Dewalt
Dewalt is a 6’2 sophomore guard from Lakes Highschool, who averaged 19 points and grabbed 3.7 rebounds. With his team having a rough season Dewalt showed he has a bright future. Dewalt has never seen a outside shot he didn’t like with most of his attempts coming from the 3 point line. As his shot selection improves I can see him turning into one of the best shooters in the area. His confidence is really high for his age on both ends of the court, although he takes a lot of shots he will still play hard on defense when the ball doesn’t go in.
Luke Holecek
Holecek is a 6’3 sophomore guard from East Valley Highschool, who averaged 18.5 points per game and grabbed 7.9 rebounds. Holecek is a player who will fill the stat sheet by doing all the little things. His season highs include a game where he scored 28 points grabbed 11 rebounds, had 6 assists, 2 block shots and 2 steals. This young man is all over the court and does not take a play off. Playing at a high level at such a young age gives this program hope after a very disappointing season.
