Changes to Class of 2023

Sophomore season often permits players from small schools to make a name for themselves a little earlier than those from big schools. Last season saw several members of the Class of 2023 earn post-season honors, particularly in the lower classifications.
The latest adjustment to the Class of 2023 rankings reflects that fact. A few players caught the eye of Prep Hoops in the spring tournaments. But 2023s from bigger schools will have more of the spotlight this summer.
Avery Johnson Avery Johnson 6'2" | CG Maize | 2023 KS (pictured) was rewarded for leading Maize to the 5A state title with a nice bump in the rankings. Kobe Smith Kobe Smith 6'1" | CG Andover Central | 2023 State KS and Cameron Carr improved their rankings at the top of the list, where movement isn’t easily accomplished. Easton Ewing Easton Ewing 6'6" | PF Independence | 2023 State KS , an all-state player from Independence, rocketed up the list. Take a look at where he landed.
