Big Shots Winston Salem 2021 Guard Tyreik Leach recently committed to Johnson C Smith to play football but he’s still showcasing his ability to get the job done on the court. He knocked down shots from the perimeter at a high level but one of his best attributes is his leadership. Leading by not just words but by actions as well, he’s one of those players that you want to have on your squad.
Flash Elite 2023 Guard Treymane Parker Treymane Parker 6'3" | CG OT Elite | 2023 #169 Nation GA put his high flying show on the road once again, making plays above the rim all weekend long. The dunks are what grab the attention but overall he showed an outstanding ability to score the ball, averaging 22 PPG which placed him at the #1 spot for scoring the division. Outside of scoring the ball he was able to showcase some impressive passing ability and the fact that he can be an outstanding defender when he truly locks in. He’s another one of those prospects that is a no brainer for D1 programs, currently holding an offer from NC A&T and interest from a host of D1 programs.
Bullcity Silverbacks 2021 Guard Jahvarius Carter Jahvarius Carter 6'2" | PG Believe Prep | 2021 NC was one of the top Guard performers in the 17U division, averaging just under 20 PPG which placed him at the #2 spot in the division in scoring. He made a nice impact on both ends of the floor, scoring the ball in a variety of ways offensively and pressuring the ball which led to some rushed possessions and turnovers.
Defenders Elite 2021 Wing Terrence Johnson is a legit D1 talent level player and although he will be taking the JC route, D1 programs will want to keep a close eye on him. A 6’6/6’7 wing that can put the ball on the floor, knock down shots, and make plays above the rim, he fits the mold of the type of SG that plenty of colleges will love.
Team DBGH Jahterius Horne Jahterius Horne 6'3" | PF Hunt | 2023 State NC plays with one of the highest motors that we saw from any player the entire weekend. It almost seemed as if every time his team needed a play to be made he was somewhere in the area making a positive play to help his squad. He blocked shots, defended multiple positions, scored at a decent rate from numerous levels and flat out did whatever it took to help his team.
Bulls Elite 2022 Forward Charlie Whitley is a worker inside the paint, using his solid 6’6 frame to score inside and rebound at a pretty nice rate. He’s one of those players that you don’t have to necessarily run plays for, he is constantly battling and doing all the dirty work to create his own offensive opportunities.
