WV Crossover 2024 Guard Kamron Gore: It’s always impressive to see a young PG that is unselfish and possesses the IQ for the game that he has. His head and eyes are always up and moving, he looked to get his teammates involved often and he does not mind advancing the ball ahead which leads to easy buckets for his team in transition. He has good ball handling skills, does a nice job of using jabs and counter moves to keep defenders off balance and does all the small things you like to see from a floor general. On the defensive side of the ball he was very impressive as well, using his wingspan, lateral quickness and quick hands to cause all types of problems for opponents.
Team Pressure 910 2024 Guard Darris Simmons Darris Simmons 5'10" | SG Pine Forest | 2024 NC : A few weeks back we saw him take over a game with his scoring but on several occasions during this event he took on more of a facilitator role. He has good court vision and passing ability to go along with a nice IQ for the game.
Team Premier 2024 Guard Drew Pittman Drew Pittman 6'3" | SG Hunt | 2024 State NC : Scored the ball at a nice level throughout the weekend, finishing with an average of 15 PPG. He knocks down shots from midrange and three point land but also showed some flashes of his ability to slash to the basket and play through some contact. Drew also brings a nice amount of effort on the defensive side of the ball, crashing the defensive boards and playing solid overall defense without fouling.
Big Shots Select 2024 Wing Brandon Ihle Brandon Ihle 6'3" | SF Middle Creek | 2024 State NC : Week in and week out we have seen him in the mix as one of the top performers in his division and this past weekend was the same story, just a different chapter. He led the division in scoring, averaging over 26 PPG, leading his team to a Semi-finals appearance before losing to Team Premier. The way he scores the ball is just as impressive as his scoring averages, He’s constantly moving without the ball, crashing the boards for put back opportunities and playing within the flow of the team offense.
Team Richmond 2024 Guard Danzelle Coles: One thing is for certain, he’s going to put his head down and find ways to score the ball by using his size and strength. Standing at about 6’1 with an advanced physique, he understood how to use his body to his advantage, not settling for outside shots but instead taking advantage of his ability to outmuscle defenders.
