He would go for a game high of 33 Points and lead his team to the championship against a very good DBGH squad. He’s already made his college decision to attend UNCP and this event showed once again that not only is he a talented player, but he knows how to win games and has good leadership qualities.
New Life Storm 2021 Guard Caleb Pedleton brought a nice amount of offense for his team from the Shooting Guard spot, averaging 20.7 PPG which places him as the top scorer in the 17U Blue Division. He can knock down shots from outside, midrange and gets to the basket at a pretty solid rate and we appreciate the fact that he moves pretty well without the ball.
Sandhills Cyclones 2021 Guard Ian Blue has made the decision to attend William Peace University next year and he took the opportunity during this tournament to showcase why he should have a nice impact on the next level. His scoring is impressive and we noticed that regardless of the defensive scheme that was used, he found ways to score the ball and provide offense for his team. His best performance of the event came against Brothers Basketball, where he scored a game high of 32 Points and led his team to an 83-80 win.
Cap City Pacers 2021 Guard Isaiah Holman is one of those players that doesn’t force plays but always is looking to make the right play for his team. He averaged 14 points per game on a pretty good percentage but he also averaged a nice amount of assists over the weekend.
Team Whitaker 2022 Guard CeeJay Jordan CeeJay Jordan 6'4" | SF Millbrook | 2022 State NC had a solid overall showing, making a nice impact on both ends of the court. Offensively he uses his speed to slash to the basket for buckets and draw fouls. On the defensive side of the ball he uses that same speed to come up with steals and deflections as well as contesting shots at the rim.
CBE Howell 2022 Guard Xavier Whitaker Xavier Whitaker 6'2" | CG Northern | 2022 State NC got off to a nice start for his team in the event, averaging 18 points per game throughout the first two games on Saturday. He understands how to use his athleticism to make an impact, crashing the boards for rebounds and finishing over opponents when he attacks the basket.
