Next is the Under the Radar prospects:
Harrison Reede Harrison Reede 6'2" | SG Phhoenix Prep | 2023 State AZ Phhoenix Prep (Pictured)
-A transfer by way of South Dakota is one of the best standstill shooters in the state that not many know about. He squares up quickly and fires away with a quick trigger. He smartly moves without the ball and relocates to an open spot on the floor. He has some quickness to get passed his defender with the ball.
Quinn Thorne Quinn Thorne 6'0" | PG Corona Del Sol | 2022 State AZ Corona del Sol
-A pure PG is crafty with a shifty handle and plays with a high IQ. He is a good passer and can shoot off the catch from mid to the 3pt line, plus he can pull-up off the dribble. With a younger overall program, Thorne should bring invaluable experience to next years team.
Rob Jenkins Rob Jenkins 6'3" | CG Cactus | 2022 State AZ Cactus
-A strong power guard with a impressive upper body. He can get downhill and take a bump and score it through contact. He can hesi and pull-up to the 3pt line. He plays hard on defense using his strength and length rebounding the ball and he can block an occasional shot.
Bobby Holcomb Bobby Holcomb 6'0" | PG Apollo | 2023 State AZ Apollo
-A cerebral combo guard has a lot to like in his game. He handles the ball well and he can drive it and dump it off for a dime. He has a quick burst he uses to get into the lane and uses the floater about as well as you could. He can hit the 3 off the catch and he made some nice passes ahead for assists.
Joshon Person Joshon Person 6'0" | SF Apollo | 2022 State AZ Apollo
-The ultimate glue guy for the Hawks just fills in the stat sheet. He defends literally all five positions and can shoot it to the 3pt line and is tough inside. He blocks shots in his area, grabs many 50/50 balls and will collect steals in bunches with length and effort. He is undersized but has a nice floater game and he could be a player to consider for a DPOY candidate in his region next season with all he brings to the table.
Daimon Denning Daimon Denning 6'1" | CG Hamilton | 2022 State AZ Hamilton
-A combo guard with great size for position. He is very active in the passing lanes using his size and length and he can score. He is quick with the ball in his hands and gets into the lane to score on floaters and tough layups. He can shoot it from mid to the 3pt line and he has the most experience from last years team to lead them this year.
Hayden Engle Hayden Engle 6'1" | SF Desert Vista | 2022 State AZ Desert Vista
-The rising senior is strong and skilled. He has become their knockdown shooter on the team and made it look easy this event. He has a pure stroke from the 3pt line off the catch. He is super confident with it and he compliments their top players perfectly giving them the space provided.
Brandon Nacario Brandon Nacario 6'0" | CG Notre Dame Prep | 2022 State AZ Notre Dame Prep
-A cerebral combo guard who can shoot it. He is quickly turning into one of the better catch shooters in 4A. He ended the season on tear at 50% from the 3pt line. In his last 7 games he hit 34 3’s with 67 attempts. He may not get the volume this year, but don’t leave him open or he will make you pay.
