As many of these players will be experiencing their first varsity minutes next season, we take the time today to look at the potential these players have and how they might be able to help their teams. Trey Bateman Trey Bateman 6'2" | SF Bonners Ferry | 2024 State ID , Bonners Ferry: Bateman will be a big help for Bonners Ferry in the near future as he continues to grow and develop. Trey already has a really solid understanding of the game and knows how to play at a high level. Watch for Bateman to become a great player at Bonners Ferry in a couple of short seasons.
Max Frank Max Frank 5'11" | SG Sandpoint | 2024 State ID , Sandpoint: Frank has a lot of varsity experience already and is looking to help turn the Sandpoint program around. Frank is a tough defender who loves to jump through passing lanes to create steals. At the rim he finishes well with either hand and also has a really nice pull-up jumper from mid range.
Skyler Forbush Skyler Forbush 6'0" | CG South Fremont | 2024 State ID , South Fremont: Forbush is part of the storied program at South Fremont and is looking to carve out a solid spot in the lineup. He plays at a high level every time he steps on the floor and makes sure that he is always in on the action on either side of the ball. Forbush has a high basketball IQ and will develop nicely in the next few seasons.
Luke Pascoe Luke Pascoe 5'7" | PG Shelley | 2024 State ID , Shelley: Pascoe will be looking for a growth spurt to help make a big impact at Shelley. Luke is a multi-sport athlete who has shown glimpses of his potential throughout the prior season. Shelley is in desperate need for leaders and naturally-gifted athletes, and Pascoe appears to be the right person for the job.
JJ Funk JJ Funk 6'7" | PF Skyline Prep | 2024 State AZ , Canyon Ridge: Funk is one of the top players from the class of 2024 and has a ton of potential. He has already developed a tough turnaround jumper in the post and plays with the confidence of an upperclassman. Watch for Funk to develop his outside game and become multidimensional in the upcoming years.
