The 2023 rankings were officially updated yesterday as there are now 163 total prospects. With every new update, players are added to the rankings and this one was no different with 18 prospects joining the rankings. Here are the top newcomers to the updated 2023 rankings.

Shawn Simmons Shawn Simmons 6'5" | SF Life Center Academy | 2023 State NJ , 6’5 SF Life Center Academy

Simmons is the highest ranked newcomer on the list and has the potential for a big 2022 campaign. The lanky 6’5 wing attacks the basket with a purpose and is capable of finishing through contact. Simmons is more than just a slasher as he has a good release on his jumper and has an effective mid-range game. His length gives him the potential to defend multiple positions and is an underrated passer. Simmons already holds five high major offers and that list should grow as he continues to play well for Team Durant.

Jackson Tindall Jackson Tindall 6'7" | SF St. Peter's Prep | 2023 State NJ , 6’6 SF St. Peter’s Prep

Tindall may be flying under the radar right now, but his stock is beginning to rise. The 6’6 wing has a nice shooting stroke and sets his feet before he shoots. Tindall can also attack the basket from the perimeter and finish with
