He snakes defenders and gets to the rim at will. Johnson climbs five spots. He looks fully comfortable in Georgia and could really take the reins of the Norcross offense. 6-5 W Jelani Hamilton Jelani Hamilton 6'6" | SF Cumberland Christian | 2023 State #122 Nation GA – Cumberland Christian (Up from No. 16) Jelani Hamilton Jelani Hamilton 6'6" | SF Cumberland Christian | 2023 State #122 Nation GA can score the ball all over the floor. He’s got nice size on the perimeter and is blazing fast when attacking the rim. Hamilton can cause mismatches at the high school level with his ability to play 1-4. 6-4 CG Jakai Newton Jakai Newton 6'4" | PG Newton | 2023 State #104 Nation GA – Newton (Up from No. 27) Size, speed and skill, Jakai Newton Jakai Newton 6'4" | PG Newton | 2023 State #104 Nation GA checks the boxes as a High Major recruit. Newton stands out with his physicality. He’s been in the weight room and it shows in his game, able to bully defenders to the hoop where he can finish off with highlight slams. Newton can get inside at will but also has shown the ability to bury threes. He is also a very good defender that turns turnovers into points. 6-7 W Frankquon Sherman Frankquon Sherman 6'7" | SF Grovetown | 2023 State #274 Nation GA – Lincoln County (Up from No. 24) Lincoln County has something special in the long wing. Sherman is comfortable handling outside and pushing the pace. He has long strides that help him get to the hoop in a flash. Sherman finishes through contact. He’s a really good three-point shooter that easily gets his shot off. On defense, Sherman is capable of defending 1-5 with terrific switchability. 6-1 PG Eren Banks Eren Banks 6'1" | PG Putnam County | 2023 State GA – Putnam County (Up from No. 126) After averaging 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3.2 steals and being named All-State Honorable Mention, Eren Banks Eren Banks 6'1" | PG Putnam County | 2023 State GA has parlayed his play into a big summer. Banks scores with an easy smoothness. He’s a dangerous outside shooter that uses a sharp handle to help him breakdown defenders and get to the rack. His quickness on defense and ability to change directions makes him an above average defender. Mississippi State had already offered. 5-9 PG Austen Colton Austen Colton 5'9" | PG East Coweta | 2023 State GA – East Coweta (Up from No. 44) Not many guards can fill it up like Colton can. He’s a prolific scorer with NBA range. He’s tight and compact, able to get into the lane and draw fouls. Colton has great value as a playmaker. When defenses collapse on him, he has above average vision to find open teammates.
