Prep Hoops Maryland recently updated its class of 2023 prospect rankings, and now it’s time to take a closer look. Here is a rundown of some of the stock risers featured in this recent update.

#12 | Thomas Batties II Thomas Batties II 6'6" | PF Gonzaga | 2023 State MD | Previous Rank: #22

Batties has a well-rounded game. He knows how to play hard and is becoming consistently productive as a result. 

#19 | Jayden Ross Jayden Ross 6'7" | SF Saint James School | 2023 State MD | Previous Rank: #38

Ross has improved considerably since before the pandemic. He is still just scratching the surface, but the signs we've seen from him in recent weeks are encouraging. 

#27 | Rieco Hellams Rieco Hellams 5'7" | PG Good Counsel | 2023 State MD | Previous Rank: #54

Hellams is a reliable point guard who makes a difference on both ends of the floor. He won a lot of games with Team Melo in the spring.

Cobb looks healthy and is playing at a high level. He plays with ideal toughness and effort, which becomes contagious amongst his teammates.
