Elijah Strong Elijah Strong 6'8" | PF Myers Park | 2023 State #230 Nation NC | 6’8 Forward | Team Curry
from No. 28 to No. 15
Strong is due for a ton of attention from college coaches as the July Live Period approaches given his size and skill set at 6-foot-8. He’s got the ability to operate inside and out with his ability to handle the ball and make plays for others. He’s a matchup nightmare in the making given his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter and in the mid-range space. Look for him to be a hot summer name soon.
Wesley Tubbs III Wesley Tubbs III 6'5" | SF TSF Prep | 2023 GA | 6’7 Forward/Wing | Team United
from No. 23 to No. 16
Tubbs finds himself climbing further into the Top 20 ranks in North Carolina’s 2023 class. He’s starting to garner some interest from college coaches with the 2023 recruiting window opening up a bit given his ability to play multiple positions and fill up the stat sheet as a rebounder, distributor and scorer. He’s earned offers from Old Dominion, South Carolina, Hampton, Wake Forest and others in recent months.
William Otto William Otto 6'4" | CG Greensboro Day | 2024 State NC | 6’3 Shooting Guard | Garner Road
from No. 44 to No. 31
Otto hasn’t slowed down at all in the 2023 class and continues to climb the ranks as a stock riser in North Carolina. He’s got a variety of moves off the bounce that make him nearly impossible to stop on each possession. It’s hard to call him just a shooting guard given he can also create for others and is unselfish with the ball in his hands, but he’s a top shooter in the 2023 class as well.
Khalil Genwright Khalil Genwright 6'4" | SF Laney | 2023 State NC | 6’3 Guard | WBC Elite
from No. 76 to No. 62
Genwright is an emerging guard prospect with a “big-guard” frame that he utilizes well for WBC Elite . He’s moved into the Top 60 prospects in the 2023 class given his ability to create with the ball in his hands with more consistency. He’s even more of an asset as a rebounder and active defender when he’s off the ball. He’s a prospect in the class with a ton of promise in the Wilmington area.
Jordan Cooper Jordan Cooper 6'1" | CG Wayne Country Day | 2023 State NC | 5’11 Guard | Flight 22 Elite 17U
from No. 159 to No. 65
Playing up on the 17U division is working wonders for Jordan Cooper Jordan Cooper 6'1" | CG Wayne Country Day | 2023 State NC as it’s risen his stock quite a bit as we approach the July Live Period. He’s filling out nicely as an athletic playmaker that can already get up and finish at the rim. Don’t sleep on his shot though because he is deadly from behind the arc in anybody’s backcourt. He’s a prospect due for a rise in his recruitment very soon.
