What new headlining names did we add to the list this week that we didn’t have last fall?  Here are ten quality prospects. 

 

First Five

Chiddi Obiazor Chiddi Obiazor 6'5" | SF Eden Prairie | 2023 State #165 Nation MN of Eden Prairie/Howard Pulley (6’6 Forward).  Chiddi was the biggest surprise name of the entire 2020-21 season.  Eden Prairie of course replaced a huge part of their line-up from the previous year and his emergence scoring 16 a game as a sophomore led the Eagles to a surprising quality season.  Chiddi has since played very well at the 16U level as well as with EP at the Breakdown Summer State and he was a MBCA standout.  All of this has lifted his athletic combo forward into the national rankings and the top five of Minnesota prospects. 

Isaac Nyakundi Isaac Nyakundi 6'8" | C Duluth East | 2023 State MN of Duluth East/Starks Elite (6’8 Big).  Isaac played mostly JV this season but he is clearly the next frontcourt talent for the Greyhounds.  He is a powerful frontcourt talent that should record a lot of double-doubles with high percentage finishing numbers.  He’s more of your old school, power big with strong hands and a quick jump to the rim that will lead to a lot of boards and quick outlets,
