In this second installment looking at the top stock risers from the class of 2022 rankings update, we will scan the chart for a couple more players that really increased their rankings after stellar performances last season. There are a lot of great players on these lists that make it very difficult to place everybody, but a handful of players truly stuck out above the rest and proved that they deserved to be placed higher after I failed to rank them appropriately during the last rankings update. Jordan Lenz Jordan Lenz 6'0" | PG North Fremont | 2022 State ID , North Fremont: Jordan had a great junior season for North Fremont that allowed him to make a big jump in the rankings from #23 to #9. Jordan is a crafty point guard/shooting guard who can control the game with his shooting and passing abilities. Lenz is a deadly shooter from down town and he has really solid consistency on his shot. Jordan is also an underrated passer who always finds the open man at the right times. Lenz will look to lead North Fremont to a state championship during his senior campaign.
Kross Taylor Kross Taylor 6'3" | SG Lapwai | 2022 State ID , Lapwai: Kross made the jump from #30 to #17 after being a major contributor to another Lapwai state championship. Taylor has great size for a shooting guard at 6’3″ and he fits in very well with Lapwai’s uptempo offense and high pressure defense. Kross has the ability to fly around on defense and cause turnovers before running the floor and knocking down a three or finishing through contact on the opposite end of the floor. Kross is a complete player on both sides of the ball.
Trentyn Kreager Trentyn Kreager 6'2" | SG Priest River | 2022 State ID , Priest River: Kreager made a big jump in the rankings from #40 to #20 after snagging his conference player of the year honors. Kreager has the whole package on offense and can score in a variety of ways. He is big enough to score over smaller defenders and can also drive around bigger and slower defenders. On defense, Trentyn is a great rebounder and he does an excellent job of making sure that he closes out possessions each and every time.
