- Brandon made the Stock Risers list in our last rankings update in March and he once made a big move up in this update, jumping from number 68 to number 43 overall in Texas. The 13 ranked point guard in the state is a very athletic floor general who does a great job of pushing the pace and finishing in the open court and in transition. Can control the offense and set up teammates for open shots, in addition, Brandon is also a plus defender who can also bring down a few rebounds per game. Averaged 19.7 points (39% from three-point range), 4.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game in his junior season at Judson. Jordan Mason Jordan Mason 6'2" | PG San Antonio Clark | 2022 State TX | 6’2″ PG | San Antonio Clark
New Ranking: 53
Previous Ranking: 70
- A smooth and methodic point guard with savvy handles, Mason is one of the top floor generals in San Antonio and made the leap up the rankings to the number 15 point guard in Texas. Mason was consistently a late-game closer down the stretch for Clark in the playoffs last season, making winning plays and showing a great understanding of half-court sets. Mason can do it all from the guard spot, where he is money from the mid-range, but also can extend out and knock down three-pointers. Is an underrated rebounder and can use his length to disrupt on defense. Earned UIL 6A All-State Team.
Jesse Peart Jesse Peart 6'4" | CG Boerne-Champion | 2022 State TX | 6’4″ CG | Boerne-Champion
New Ranking: 93
Previous Ranking: 114
- Peart had a tremendous junior year for Boerne-Champion and has continued his dominant play into the spring grassroots season, earning him a jump into the top 100 players in the state. A true combo-guard who can run point and shows great passing ability, while also providing an off-ball shooting presence on the wings. Peart has good size and length for the position and has been steadily improving since his sophomore season. Averaged 13.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.4 steals per game in his junior season with Boerne-Champion. Earned UIL 5A All-State Team.
Donovan Santoro Donovan Santoro 6'8" | SF Austin Westlake | 2023 CA-S | 6’8″ SF | Austin Westlake
New Ranking: 89
Previous Ranking: 147
- Santoro-Simmons has been making waves this spring with his play and scoring ability as a stretch forward and prototypical wing. He has shown really good range on his shot, can knock down mid-range jumpers, and he has developed some nice handles that allow him to get into the paint and finish around the rim. Santoro-Simmons has a ton of upside as a scorer and has traits to develop into a good rebounder and defender. Be on the lookout for Santoro-Simmons this summer and with Austin Westlake this upcoming high school season.
