Jeremiah Sibley | University High School ’22
Jeremiah has been tearing it up from outside. Right now he is averaging 26 PPG through 3 games. He has already hit 15 3pt shots, while last year he only hit 29 3pt shots in 20 games. Jeremiah is being leaned on heavily to carry the Titans offensively in the tough GSL competition. He is a fast shifty guard that you have to almost always pick up at half court cause he will shoot it if you give him any space.
Gentz Hilburn | Lewis and Clark High School ’23
Gentz was a starter on the Freshmen squad just a year ago. Now he is the starting point guard on the Tigers Varsity team. He is one of/ if not the fast guard in the GSL. With his speed and quickness, he can break down defenders with his handle to get to the bucket for an easy or tough finish. When Gentz gets in the fast break, he is almost impossible to slow down as he just blows right by you. Gentz has improved his outside shooting immensely from his freshmen year making him a viable threat from outside. Look for this kid to continue improving and leading this squad for the next 3 years.
Hodges Flemming | Gonzaga Prep ’21
Hodges is a 6’2 guard who is a hound on the defensive end and has been on a mission to prove he is an offensive threat as well. He came out strong against Mt. Spokane scoring 40 points with 8 3pt shots made, and 6/6 from the FT line. He was completely unstoppable and proved that he isn’t just a defensive guard. You have to respect his shooting ability, as well as his ability to create space for himself and others. Look for Hodges to continue leading G-Prep this season as it’s his last and wants to go out on top!
Jamil Miller Jamil Miller 6'6" | SG Gonzaga Prep | 2023 State WA | Shadle Park High School ’23
This Highlander team is leaning HEAVILY on Jamil to carry them in every game this year. Jamil has been playing 95% of the minutes per game while averaging 20 PPG in his first season starting on Varsity. He is a 6’4 guard with insane bounce and can shoot you out of the game if you don’t guard him tough all game. Give him space or take a play off, Jamil will make you pay for that. He just scored 27 pts shooting 5-10 from outside against West Valley. He is getting more comfortable every day leading this young Shadle Park squad, and it is very scary to see him gaining confidence every quarter he plays. The sky is the limit for Jamil, he just has to take advantage of the opportunity presented in front of him.
Jackson Harty | West Valley High School ’22
The Eagles look to Jackson often and early to get the offense moving. Jackson is a 6’9 post who can really shoot it. With Jackson’s ability to stretch the floor it creates issues for the defense. Jackson scored 21 points paired with 13 rebounds just dominating North Central inside. He had the Indians’ interior defenders in foul trouble early just with his presence in the paint. He is a tough player to game plan for as he will hurt you from outside and punish you inside with his rebounding ability and all the second chance opportunities he creates for the Eagles.
