David Freida 6’7 2024 Team Final Red
The primary big for Red’s 15u, David has very skilled post moves for his age. He had a major impact against Team Final (EYBL) by scoring 13pts and getting their players in foul trouble. Once he got to the line, he shot 7 of 8. David did more of the same in their game versus TF Black. As his frame fills out, Freida will be even more effective on both ends.
Luke Bevilacqua Luke Bevilacqua 6'10" | C George School | 2025 State #68 Nation PA 6’9 2024 Team Final
Luke playing hard and running the floor in game 1 made a huge difference, scoring 12 pts and going 4 of 4 on free throws. Then in game 2 he helped put a lid on the rim, blocking two shots. Bevilacqua’s solid build and active feet & hands are great building blocks for his development going forward.
Thomas Sorber 6’8 2024 Team Final
The big on the 15u team was Sorber. Against Black, he made plays for others as a passer and threw his weight around as a screener. Versus Red, Thomas threw a block party, deflecting four shots. He chipped in 10 pts with his graceful post moves, including a three.
Ian Imegwu Ian Imegwu 6'8" | PF Blair Academy | 2023 State NJ 6’8 2023 Team Final
Imegwu had an active day as a 2-way stretch big. His jumper didn’t fall in either game but he maximized his touches in the paint with his basket-to-the-basket game. He finished the game versus Red with 16 pts. On defense he protected the rim and was a sturdy low post defender.
Landon Shivers 6’9 2022 Team Final Black
Shivers was light on his feet and got high percentage looks by cleaning the glass (10 pts vs TF EYBL). His coaches were comfortable running the offense through him from the top of the key because he has a solid face-up game and is a good ball mover on the perimeter. His quick leaping made him a lob threat too.
Donovan Hill Donovan Hill 6'7" | SF Central Dauphin | 2022 PA 6’8 2022 Team Final Red
Hill had his work cut-out for him on Saturday. So he didn’t put up major numbers but he did step up defensively. What he gave up in size, he compensated for in quickness, making Duren & Lively work for everything they got on the block. Donovan also contributed as a tag defender, helping clog the lane and cut off drives. As a lateral mover, thrived on switches versus wings too.
Jalen Duren Jalen Duren 6'9" | PF Montverde Academy | 2022 FL 6’10 2022 Team Final
Duren’s coordination and touch around the rim continue to amaze. He clearly has the vertical pop to rim-run and bash just about everything. Yet, he’s able to convert powerful post-moves into soft lay-ins from sometimes awkward angles. Even in the open floor, on a couple occasions, he pushed the ball, power dribbled into a spin, then finished on the opposite side of the rim. The way he took over that game was sight to behold.
