Cannen Houser – Gym Rats 2024 Black – 6’2 2024 SG: Housser is one of the more taller and longer shooting guards for his age. Solid at getting to the basket and had a pretty reverse left handed layup. Has the body frame to become a pretty good shooter from the wing but looked a little too passive at times. Adding muscle and strength to that long frame of his could really take him to that next level if he commits to it.
Keron Billingsley – Gym Rats 2024 Black – 5’11 2024 PG: Billingsley was one of the more impressive guards I had seen play for any class at Run-N-Slam. Had a couple of aggressive takes to the rim and finished pretty well for the most part. Did not show much of a jumper as his game looks to be driving hard to the basket and either finishing or kicking it out for a three. Already a great facilitator and once he gets that outside shot going he could really take off here soon.
Kieran Tewari Kieran Tewari 6'2" | SG Yorktown | 2024 State IN – Gym Rats 2024 Black – 6’1 2024 SG: Tewari is a lanky shooting guard with a pretty smooth shot. Pretty well balanced on the offense and is good about having his hands ready to shoot and follows that with a quick, high arching release. Works hard on defense and was really surprised with the few explosive blocked shots he had. Still looks to be growing as it does not really look like he has grown into his arms and legs yet. Lot of upside here.
Ashton Federspiel – Club1 INIO 2024 – 6’3 2024 SF/PF: Federspiel is a taller wing/stretch 4 with a lot of toughness. Attacks the rim hard and has a little quickness to him. Has a good looking outside shot from the waste up but needs to work on setting his feet a little more. I think with some more continued work he could be a pretty reliable inside-out type of forward.
Jayce Strode Jayce Strode 6'5" | PF Frankfort | 2024 IN – Indiana Faith 2024 – 6’4 2024 PF: Strode is an aggressive 4 that can really show off his strength at times. He is a pretty powerful glass cleaner and has some real solid footwork in the post. He was doing a good job at setting screens and rolling hard to the basket where 9 times out of 10 he was scoring. Also was impressed with his ball handles and passing ability. Tough player for sure.
Jackson Wors Jackson Wors 6'4" | PF Delta | 2024 State IN – Indiana Faith 2024 – 6’3 2024 SF: Wors is a wing that has some solid athleticism to him. Drives hard at the rim and finishes pretty well. Was a fan of his baseline work as he had a couple of impressive scores when he was running that. Think there is some talent in there that has yet to be unleased, however.
Isaac Andrews Isaac Andrews 6'1" | SG Wapahani | 2024 State IN – Grand Park Premier 2024 UA Rise – 5’11 2024 PG: Andrews is a shorter lead guard that is flat out tough as anyone. Real skilled already and has a really nice pull-up jumper from 15ft and out. Sees the floor well and is pretty explosive on the drives to the basket. He should be a guy that we talk about more and more as he is still only an underclassman.
Jack Benter Jack Benter 6'4" | SG Brownstown Central | 2024 State #121 Nation IN – Grand Park Premier 2024 UA Rise – 6’2 2024 SF: Benter is a bigger wing that can really light it up at times. Has a ton of range and a real quick release as soon as the ball touches his hands. Has some strength already and can battle a little bit in the paint. Looked to be a player that can bring some consistent scoring to a team.
Lyna Brooks Lyna Brooks 6'3" | CG Saginaw Arthur Hill | 2024 State MI – Indy Heat 2024 Black – 6’4 2024 PG/SG: Brooks is a combo guard that already has a wide frame. Great, sharp passer that sees the floor real well. Knows how to use his wider frame to drive through contact. Not yet for sure if he will be on or off the ball long term as he was pretty much on the ball the whole time. Lot of potential here in Brooks.
Ajani Washington Ajani Washington 6'2" | SG New Haven | 2024 State IN – Indy Heat 2024 Black – 6’2 2024 PG/SG: Washington is a quick guard that has a pretty long frame. Had a couple of nice looking drive and kickouts that resulted in 3 points. Pretty shifty and is a great assist man. Like his teammate Brooks, not for sure yet if he will be on the ball long term or not. Pretty quick release on the outside jumper as well.
Terrence Davis – Indy Heat 2024 Black – 6’7 2024 PF: Davis is a big, bruising post defender that plays with a high level of energy. Raw talent at the moment but was making big, aggressive plays in the post. Excellent shot blocker and goes up for rebounds strongly. Needs to develop a little bit more but was loving his junkyard dog playing style.
Dorien Beatty Dorien Beatty 5'10" | PG Lake Central | 2024 IN – Indiana Game 2024 Premier – 5’10 2024 PG: Beatty is a shorter but quick lead guard with a little bit of flash to his game. Has a great crossover move and once he makes that move he is so fast heading towards the rim. However, he did struggle to finish sometimes. Little bit of toughness to him as well and does not back down at all.
Tyler Parish – Indiana Game 2024 Premier – 6’0 2024 SG: Parish is a taller shooting guard with long arms. Has a quick outside jumper that looks to have a pretty consistent follow through. Shoots it well at all levels including a really nice looking baseline jumper. I think adding some strength is what is needed for him at this moment.
Matt Hofer Matt Hofer 6'5" | PF Valparaiso | 2024 IN – Indiana Game 2024 Premier – 6’4 2024 PF: Hoferth is a big, powerhouse of a forward. Huge frame and is already pretty muscular. Still pretty raw and you could tell he was thinking just a little too much at times instead of playing loose. Great screen setter but needs to roll more. One thing for sure is no player will be able to out-man him in the post. Interested to see how his development goes.
Hansen Haffner Hansen Haffner 6'0" | PG Fort Wayne Carroll | 2024 IN – Indy Heat Red 2024 – 6’0 2024 PG: Haffner is a true lead guard with a high basketball IQ. Pretty tough and can battle with almost anyone. Real solid handles and can be slightly explosive at times. Took care of the ball and did not see any sloppy mistakes on his part. Pretty tough player already and is smart like a lead guard should be.
Cam Reich Cam Reich 6'1" | SG Speedway | 2024 State IN – Indy Heat Red 2024 – 6’0 2024 PG/SG: Reich is a fast guard with a ton of energy. Has a pretty balanced game already and can attack and light it up from deep at times. Right now he is playing as a 2G but could see him more on the ball long term. His high motor was translating well on both ends.
