You always read my opinions on players that were impressive in game, practices, or at events. I know what I thought that I saw this weekend at the Prep Hoops Circuit’s Rumble In The Rapids. But what were other people thinking? I was interested, so I asked. I made the question a little specific by asking who the impressive point guards were at the event. Well, here are some names that were dropped frequently.

Jonathan Calmese (Big 3 Basketball 2024)

Calmese was mentioned a bit and I can see why. He has a lot of upside as a vertically quick lead guard. His combination of speed and handles could take him a long way.

Ethan Layton (LevelUp 2024)

Layton had a very solid game on Friday and continued to impress over the course of the weekend. He was at his best with the ball in his hands working off a solid screen. Layton put in work when the ball wasn’t in his hands as well. This resulted in openings for himself and his teammates.

Joseph Taylor (Athlete Headquarters 2024)

Taylor liked to rock his defender, get them to lean, and then go to the rim. He played downhill all weekend
