* This is not a ’best of’ list, as I wasn’t able to watch every game. This is simply some players that I noticed over the course of the evening.
B3 Athletics 2024 – 65
Tri-County Cobras – 55
Jeremiah Jones (B3 Athletics 2024)
Jones was terrific in this game, finishing with 27 points and having one of the best all around games of the night. He was excellent on the catch and shoot with a laser like shot. Jones even hit a triple with a hand in his face. He finished at the rim through contact, drew a lot of fouls, and scored from the line.
Sean Sullivan (B3 Athletics 2024)
Sullivan looks like he has a bright future in high school basketball. He scored 21 points in the game. Sullivan showed off a nice mid range jumper off the bounce. He pressured the ball on defense and created scoring opportunities with his D.
Mason Struck Mason Struck 6'6" | PF Chesaning | 2024 State MI (Tri-County Cobras 2024)
Struck was impressive last night, earning a tough 13 points. He was active on the glass and rebounded the ball high. Struck hit tough contested buckets in the lane. He sealed defenders when his teammates drove to the rim and made himself available for the dish.
Deahveon Whaley (Tri-County Cobras 2024)
Wheeley was a fast and fluid athlete. He was tough to stop in transition and was smooth with the ball when attacking the rim. Whaley has good vertical speed and nice touch on his floater. He finished the game with 14 points.
Team 10 Jabari Parker 2024 – 58
LevelUp 2024 – 33
Payton Kamin (Team 10 Jabari Parker 2024)
Kamin had a lot of high percentage looks at the rim because of his activity in the open floor. He had long strides when running the floor. Kamin finished at the rim with both hands, drew contact, and finished from the line. He had a game high 22 points.
Rocco Breslin (LevelUp 2024)
Breslin worked really well of the baseline and showed nice touch from that part of the floor. He showed that he can get buckets in traffic and had 10 points.
Ethan Layton (LevelUp 2024)
Laytondid a great job filling the wing in transition and putting himself in scoring positions that way. He worked to find openings in the defense. Layton looked very comfortable working off a screen. He had 11 points in the contest.
H.I.T. 2022 – 72
MBA Lakeshore 2022 – 66
Grant George Grant George 6'1" | CG Northview | 2022 State MI (MBA Lakeshore)
This was an outstanding game and nobody stood out more than Grant George Grant George 6'1" | CG Northview | 2022 State MI . He shot the ball like a sniper from behind the arc. George buried at least 3 treys off a catch and shoot. The defense always had to account for him. He finished with 18 points on the night.
DV45 2022 – 62
MSF Flight 2022 – 40
Cameron Brilliantes (DV45 2022)
Brilliantes looked like a very intriguing prospect on a very underrated DV45 squad. He had 14 points in the game. Brilliantes really spread the floor with his shooting and was super quick with the ball in his hands. He showed range that extended beyond the arc and that he can hit a 3 off the dribble.
Illinois TWolves 2023 – 54
Michigan Cagers 2023 – 50
Zachary Kroetsch Zachary Kroetsch 6'2" | PG Croswell-Lexington | 2023 State MI (Michigan Cagers 2023)
Kroetsch, quite simply, works really hard on the basketball court. He moves so well off the ball and he does a nice job popping out for the pass shot ready. Kroetsch had a hard earned 10 points last night.
Gaden Muxlow Gaden Muxlow 6'4" | CG Brown City | 2023 State MI (Michigan Cagers 2023)
I’ve been high on Muxlow’s game for a while now and last night just helped confirm my beliefs. He’s big, strong, and physical which helps him score in a variety of ways. Muxlow can hit a jumper from deep, even when contested. He had 14 points for the game.

Blanton earned his offense with his performance on the defensive end. He finished creatively at the rim. Blanton showed a tough bulldog straight line drive as well as a crafty looping drive across the lane.
