Caleb Young (Judah Nation)
This Pensacola, Florida 6’5” small forward is a slick driver that presents excellent physical tools. Combine that with a knack for scoring from multiple levels as he scored 18 points int he game that I saw. Got whatever he wanted offensively making it look easy at times.
Eddrin Bronson (Judah Nation)
Bronson is a bouncy 6’3” two guard from Tampa Catholic that was dominant using his athleticism in the open floor getting to the rim and scoring in transition. He ran the floor hard and scored in the paint with athleticism netting 17 points.
Brandon Mitchell-Day (Gateway)
Have always liked the potential of this MICDS power forward from Missouri. At 6’7” he has a good frame and mobility on the interior. Rim runner that excels with his ability to get down the floor for dunks and is quick off the ground on dump off passes. Scores in transition quite a bit. Has some emerging post moves and can play as a face up four knocking in jumpers at a solid clip and even handle a bit. Potential to be an above average shot blocker and is a solid rebounder. Low-major and mid-major programs should be on this St. Louis forward.
Brian Taylor (Gateway)
This Desmet point guard just controls the game from the point guard spot. He has plus size at 6’3” with the ability to run a team. Taylor is a crisp passer that gets others involved along with putting them in positions to succeed. Was a major reason for Gateway’s successful weekend!
Carl Daughtery Jr. (Old School Wings)
The 6’3” two guard from Arkansas was a breakout player with his scoring pop from the perimeter. Drained an array of threes, was electric in transition, and showed burst in one on one situations off the dribble. Scored 27 points against the Barnstormers.
Colby Garland (Old School Wings)
Lefty shooting guard has a clean looking shooting stroke along with quickness off the bounce. Gets into his man on the defensive end with his angular frame.
Josh Ola Joseph (D1 Minnesota)
Osseo 2022 6’6” power forward has been consistently productive this spring. Junk yard dog four gets the most out of his ability with his high motor and relentless nature. Finishes with power whether it is converting dump offs or using his drop step. Really good low-major prospect.
Elvis Nnaji (D1 Minnesota)
Big fan of this 2022 post after seeing him two weekends in a row. Strong and explosive power forward that plays with a ton of physicality. Good footwork on the block and is a plus rebounder snatching them in traffic.
Tyler Barlow (New Mexico D1)
Barlow is a 6’7” face up four man with good mobility that can stretch the floor a little and is a decent shot blocker. Inside outside threat is one to track.
Ahjany Lee (D1 Minnesota Prospects)
Lee is a rangy and athletic four man with plus physical tools. Early on Saturday he hung out on the perimeter and didn’t do much. In the later game that all changed. He was super aggressive on the boards snatching them in traffic with two hands. Quick and assertive moves on the block including a nice looking hook shot. Does have a nice looking jumper that he knocks down with regularity from mid-range and can stretch to three on occasion. Defensively he is a versatile piece that can switch and swats shots at a very high rate. High-major talent.
Malek Gomma (Team Lavine)
This 6’8” center is an explosive finisher that plays with toughness. Broad shouldered post was impactful on both ends of the floor.
Filip Sinobad (Ball Hogg Academy)
This 6’5” five man from Chaminade in St. Louis opened our eyes with his play in Kansas City. Face up four man that is at his best stretching the floor with his perimeter jump shot. Knocked down mid-range shots for days making it look easy. High end D3 or NAIA prospect.
Landrus Keyes (Ball Hogg Academy)
Keyes is a 6’0” point guard that brings athleticism and quickness to the table off the bounce. Excelled getting to the rack in transition with slick takes to the rim.
Evan Blood (Ball Hogg Academy)
Blood shot lights out for Ball Hogg on Sunday morning. Plus three point stroke from the smaller point guard with a crisp and clean release.
