Continue Reading14U Pentagon Schoolers are off to a good start. They played in the Spring Jam Tournament at the Sanford Pentagon April 24th-25th and went 3-1. The 14U Pentagon Schoolers lost to a good Rebels team, who ended up winning the tournament. After getting behind early by 15 points, the team battled back late to pull within one. The comeback bid fell short as the Rebels converted free throws down the stretch.

“Last weekend the 14U Pentagon Schoolers moved up an age division to compete in the 15U Sanford Pentagon Tournament Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Although the 14U Schoolers went 0-4 on the weekend, they competed at a high level and gained valuable experience for the rest of league play this summer.”
Roster:
Markus Talley (2025) |5-10 G| Mitchell – He has had a nice showing so far this season. Talley is putting up 9.7 ppg, and 2.7 apg. Expect Markus to improve throughout the AAU season.
Tad Tjaden (2025) | |6-4 F| Dell Rapids – 4.3 ppg with 3.7 rpg. He is another tough interior big man. This lefty is a playmaker.
Easton Neuendorf Easton Neuendorf 5'11" | PG Hamlin | 2025 State SD (2025) |5-8 G| Mitchell – He is leading the team in scoring so far this season at 14.7 ppg, 5.2 apg, and 4.7 rpg.
Sutton Thompson (2025) |5-6 G| Mitchell – A gritty and tough player. He is averaging 3.3 ppg and is also leading the team in charges taken. Sutton is a difference-maker. He has drawn 5 charges already this season.
Colton Smith (2025) |6-4 F| Mitchell – He is playing a huge role for this team in the paint. Colton is averaging 8.8 ppg and 5.5 rpg. Smith from Mitchell is a player to keep an eye on.
Konnar Furman (2025) |6-4 F| Britton – A frontcourt player that is versatile. 3.3 ppg and 2.7 ppg. Konnar has a ton of talent along with size and athleticism.
Luke Koepsell (2025) |6-2 G/F| Howard – He is a tough player on the defensive side of the ball. He is also getting it done on the offensive side. Luke is constantly tasked with guarding the opposing team’s best frontline player. 6.7 ppg.
Blake Ellwein (2025) |6-0 G/F| Huron – He is leading the team from the field while shooting 57.3% and 39.8% from the three-point arc. Blake has the potential to be a big and efficient scorer.

“This group has a big summer season ahead of them and will be heavily challenged in the 15u Sanford Pentagon Tournament Series and the regular 14u schedule. We look to make big strides and improvements throughout the summer. This will be a great experience to help these athletes prepare for their high school seasons.”
