The Pangos League never disappoints when it comes to scoring as players are scoring at an unreal clip. Here is the Day 2 Standouts. Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT is really making a name for himself as a freshman to really take seriously as he is just scoring like crazy. Rex Sunderland Rex Sunderland 6'4" | PG Davis | 2022 State UT also had an impressive night as well.
6’0 PG Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT | Weber High School | Kongo Elite | 2024 |
Hunter was in his bag again as he went off for 46 points again. The kid can shoot the ball.
6’4 G Chudi Anosike Chudi Anosike 6'5" | CG Murray | 2023 State UT | Murray High School | Mountain Stars | 2023 |
Chudi is starting to really score the ball. He can fill it up from all over the floor and you can once again see his motor on the offensive end continue to improve. We have seen a lot of growth in him this Spring.
6’0 PG Yorgio Golesis Yorgio Golesis 5'10" | SG Skyline | 2023 State UT | Skyline High School | Kongo Elite | 2023 |
Yorgio has been putting in work. Not only does he look stronger but he is quick and explosive. He is great with the ball in his hands as he is out there making some great decisions, but he is also moving well without the ball trying to get his feet right or see what advantage he can get against defenders.
6’3 CG Rex Sunderland Rex Sunderland 6'4" | PG Davis | 2022 State UT | Davis High School | Utah Prospects | 2022 |
Rex once again made it look effortless as he can just get to his spots. He can get those mid-range jumpers and if he has major space out beyond the three, he will knock them down. Rex is starting to get his outside game going, if he can be consistent from outside, he is going to be tougher than he was last year. He put up an impressive 38 in Day 2.
6’3 SG Kolton Smith Kolton Smith 6'4" | SG Skyline | 2022 State UT | Skyline High School | Mountain Stars | 2022 |
This kid can really shoot the ball. If he gets the looks and the touches, he is going to be one of the top three-point leaders in the state in the year to come. Really like his range and quick and high release.
6’11 F Preston Squire Preston Squire 6'11" | PF Layton | 2021 State UT | Layton High School | Salt Lake Rebels | 2021 |
Preston is still one of the best prospects in that 2021 class that is still looking for the right fit even though he has a few D1 offers and interest. He is a solid stretch 4 that looks strong and skilled.
