Al-Fatir Connor Al-Fatir Connor 6'0" | PG Elizabeth | 2021 State NJ , 6’0 PG Jersey Force Select 17U
Connor was simply unstoppable in both games as defenders could not stay in front of him. The 6’0 guard has a tight handle and is a crafty finisher around the basket. Connor plays with his head up in the half court and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. He plays with great anticipation on the defensive end and knows how to pick his opponents pockets. Connor’s ability to make plays on both ends of the floor is something that cannot be overlooked as he continues to do it on a nightly basis.
Jayden Pierre Jayden Pierre 6'2" | PG Long Island Lutheran | 2022 State #109 Nation NY , 6’2 PG Team Rio University 17U
Pierre was making plays all day long as he had his way on the offensive end. The explosive 6’2 guard attacked the basket with a purpose as he finished with multiple dunks in the half court, including a poster slam in the second game. Pierre did not force the issue on the offensive end and showed off a good release on his jumper. He played tough on-ball defense, which made it hard for opponents to get clean looks at the basket. Pierre is a big-time talent who knows how to make an impact every time he steps onto the floor.
Kamal Lee, 6’0 PG NJ Bulldogs 16U
Lee played for both the NJ Bulldogs 16U and 17U teams, making him one of the few prospects who played in more than two games on the day. The 6’0 guard made plays off the bounce as he was able to get to the rim and finish. Lee did more than just attack the basket as he knocked down several triples and has a good form. He was disruptive on the defensive end as he got numerous deflections and steals throughout the course of the day. Lee is a tough, two-way guard who makes plays every time he steps on the floor.
Jayden Reid Jayden Reid 5'10" | PG LuHi | 2023 State #119 Nation NY , 5’10 PG PSA Cardinals 16U
Reid was a play-maker for PSA Cardinals all day and did it in a variety of ways. The 5’10 guard is lightning quick with the ball in his hands and has a good layup package around the basket. Reid has a quick release on his jumper and does not get rushed by on-ball pressure. He has some of the quickest hands in the class, which led to a couple of transition dunks. Reid is a talented lead guard who makes teams better with his combination of speed, skill and athleticism.
Danny Carbuccia, 6’0 PG PSA Cardinals 15U
Carbuccia was playing up with the PSA Cardinals 15U team, but that did not stop him from making plays. The 6’0 guard shot the ball with confidence from distance as he drilled multiple triples throughout the course of the day. Carbuccia has a good handle and did not make many poor decisions when the ball was in his hands. He was a thief in the back court as he converted several steals into layups. Carbuccia has a bright future ahead of him, especially if he continues to play like this throughout the course of the AAU season.
