ECI Lowrance shared and moved the ball well. I like how they got multiple ball-reversals and made the defense work. They played fast in an up-tempo style of game. They have athletic guards that are great in the open court. I am excited to watch them play again in their next tournament. They will be hosting the ECI Spring Preview May 22-23 in Fargo, ND.

Top Players
Brady Westphal Brady Westphal 6'2" | SG West Fargo Horace | 2025 State ND (2025) |5-7 G| ECI – High School= Horace. He was un-real in the game I watched. Brady had a hot hand in the first half. He drilled 5 triples and finished with 19 points in the first. This lefty can really shoot the ball from downtown. He was killing it on Saturday. Brady not only scored, but he also distributed the basketball to teammates. I like the way he set them up for easy baskets. Westphal can drop dimes! He was excellent at pushing the tempo and playing fast. This young gun has a bright future!
Carter Baasch Carter Baasch 5'7" | SG Maple River | 2025 State ND (2025) |5-6 G| ECI – High School= Maple Valley. He showed off an impressive mid-range jumper on Saturday. Carter is a very shifty guard with nice moves. He has excellent handles. Baasch gets up and down the court very quickly. He has a great feel for the game. I watched him play earlier in the high school season with Maple Valley. In just 2 months, Carter has improved quite a bit. He is also a sniper from 3-point land. He scored 10 points in a blow-out win that I watched. I liked his passing and ball skills. He has quick hands and feet. Carter had multiple acrobatic finishes around the rim.
Carson Busek Carson Busek 5'11" | SG Shanley | 2025 State ND (2025) |5-7 G| ECI – High School= Shanley. A smooth guard that moves well on the hardwood. I like his handles and the demeanor he plays with. Carson was aggressive when attacking the rim. He looks to be a 3-point shooter with solid mechanics. Busek has the potential to be a very good player. I am looking forward to watching him play in the ECI Preview in 2 weeks.
Ramsey Walz Ramsey Walz 6'7" | PF Bishop Ryan | 2025 State #313 Nation ND (2025) |6-0 F| ECI – High School= Minot Bishop Ryan. A long player with loads of potential. He looks like he will continue to grow. The sky will be the limit if he continues to shoot up. I like his versatility. Ramsey is a frontcourt player that can step outside and cash in the 3-ball. His length makes him a problematic defender and a nice rebounder.
