Willie Williams Jr. — Wisconsin Rise 2024 — PG
Williams is a prospect that I could see breaking into the top ten of the 2024 rankings if he continues to impress. The Racine Park point guard product is a speedy prospect that can get downhill and cause real problems for a defense. Using his athletic ability, there are not many defenders that are going to be able to stop Williams when he gets to the rim. Overall, I think that Williams is one of the more talented scorers in his class.
Quinton Lomack Quinton Lomack 6'1" | CG Madison La Follette | 2024 WI — Power Five 2024 — SG
Because he didn’t play in the high school season, Saturday was my first opportunity to watch Lomack play in person. And I was not disappointed. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is a physical prospect that welcomes contact when he gets in the paint. He is also a smooth shooter that has shown an ability to knock down outside jumpers.
Tayshawn Bridges Tayshawn Bridges 6'2" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2024 #86 Nation GA — Power Five 2024 — PG
After watching him play on Saturday, I can once again confirm that the hype surrounding Bridges is warranted. With the ball in his hands, Bridges is such an explosive prospect that not too many defenders are going to be able to stop. The point guard is able use his slick handles and athleticism to get by his defender en route to a layup or highlight-worthy dunk. Florida State, Iowa, Auburn, Maryland, Texas Tech, and Louisville have all already offered the number one player in Wisconsin’s freshman class
Jaquan Johnson Jaquan Johnson 5'10" | PG Pius XI | 2024 State WI — Wisconsin Playground Club 2024 — PG
Johnson was absolutely phenomenal in Wisconsin Playground Club’s victory on Saturday. The point guard is an extremely smart prospect that is always able to find open teammates. Johnson has a special ability to find the smallest passing lanes at the exact right time. As a scorer, the PG is very versatile. Slashing, shooting, you name it. Johnson has no problem doing it all.
Robert Booker Robert Booker 6'7" | PF Waunakee | 2024 WI — Wisconsin Academy Elite 2024 — PF
I think that Booker has a ton of upside in Wisconsin’s 2024 class. The power forward has great positional size and strength. He is able to use his frame to get rebounds, block shots, and most importantly, score with relative ease in the paint. If he continues to round out his game, Booker will no doubt hear from some college programs in the near future.
Jamariea Dalton Jamariea Dalton 6'3" | SG Fond Du Lac | 2023 State WI — Power Five 2023 — SG
When Wisconsin’s 2023 rankings are updated, Dalton will definitely see his name at a higher spot than it is now. The 2023 shooting guard out of Fon Du Lac is an amazing slasher that opposing teams just can’t find a way to stop. Once he gets past his defender, the SG is an extremely athletic prospect that can find creative ways to finish around contact. Dalton is a prospect that is going to be featured in plenty of scout’s tweets and articles for years to come.
Will Hornseth Will Hornseth 6'8" | PF De Pere | 2024 State #208 Nation WI — Wisconsin Blizzard 2024 — PF
Playing against some elite competition, Hornseth was not fazed. The 6-foot-8 power forward took over the game. In a big upset win for the Blizzard, Hornseth tallied 29 points and ten rebounds while displaying his unmatched skill. He made outside jumpers, blocked shots, and scored really well in the paint.
