Carter Hedden 6’4 Iron Sharpens Iron: A versatile forward who did a nice job blocking shots on the defensive end. He could score well in the post with both hands and put the ball on the floor and beat opposing bigs off the dribble. He was also a good worker on the boards at both ends.
Peyton Norris 6’5″ Missouri Flight: A very impressive young forward with good size and mobility. He scored on a few tough takes to the basket as he displayed good handles and some deft footwork to avoid defenders. He moves well in the post and sets solid screens and was very effective on the roll down as he can catch the ball and finish to complete the play.
Andrell Burton 6’4 TBB KS 2024: An athletic combo forward with tremendous wingspan and a high motor. He was all arms and legs and he used both well to run the court, rebound and blocked shots. He also has an emerging skill set on the perimeter as he was not afraid to grab the rebound and take off on the dribble and go coast to coast for a layup. He has a quick first step off the dribble and can cover a lot of ground.
Cole Clipson 6’5 Team Buddy Buckets (pictured): A mobile young post player who displayed a nice mixture of finesse and good footwork inside along a physical move in the paint to create space to score. He was very comfortable finishing with either hand around the basket and he was a very good passer out of traffic.
Elijah Leonard 6’4 BTL DS@6 Elite 2024: An athletic big bodied forward with good strength and mobility to match. I was impressed with how he was able to hustle up and down the court and still play a physical game. He caught the ball well in traffic to score and he also was strong on the boards.
Anson Harbaugh 6’5″ Tulsa Hawks Blue: A solidly built young forward who played a meat and potatoes game around the basket that was very effective. He was a very active offensive rebounder who scored on many putbacks during the weekend. He would establish excellent position on the weak side and finished strong. When he got his touches, he made them count with good finishes in the paint.
