Mason English 6’2″ Victory Ministry: A member of the “BBB Club” Big Body Buckets, this powerful guard is a most difficult matchup. He combines his size and physical strength with smooth handles and the ability to score in a variety of ways. He can muscle and maneuver his way into the lane, plus he can hit the perimeter jumper.
Colby Kiedrowski 5’8″ BTL DS@ 6 Elite: An impressive young lefty who was consistently around the 20-point mark throughout the weekend. He could force the issue and attack and get a bucket through contact or he could lull the defense to sleep and then blow by on the dribble. He was also a solid 3-point shooter who could create off the step-back or knock it down off the catch.
Mack Gudelll 5’10” Next Level Oklahoma: The young combo guard was a problem all weekend as he was always on the attack and putting pressure on the defense with his penetration. He was either scoring in the paint or getting himself to the free throw line. He also scored on an assortment of runners and floaters in the lane with some 3-pointers mixed in to keep defenses honest.
Makale Guy 6’3″ Iron Sharpens Iron: A long, athletic young shooting guard with prototype size and skill level for his position. Whether he’s going left or right, he consistently beat defenders off the dribble with either the straight-line drive or a stop-and-go move. He also mixed in an array of runners and floaters to go along with a nice mid-range jumper.
David Cobin 5’8″ KC Spurs Black: A scoring point guard who was very fluid and smooth in the way he handled the ball and maneuvered on the court. He could change speeds to keep defenders off balance or just blow by them with his quickness to create buckets in the lane. His float game was nice and he could also knock down the 3-pointer off the catch.
Kobe Tarkington 5’10” Thunder Elite Oklahoma: A talented shooting guard who displayed the ability to create buckets at all three levels. He used his slick handles to set up defenders and drop them off as he penetrated into the lane or pulled up for mid-range jumpers and 3-pointers. He was always under control as he knew where he wanted to go.
Sam McCormick 6’3″ Tulsa Hawks: A lsouthpaw wing with good size and a good set of fundamentals. He’s a solid ball handler who makes excellent use of ball fakes and shot fakes to free himself from defenders. He is capable of scoring at all three levels with aggressive drives and 3-pointers off the catch
