Ethan Ivan Ethan Ivan 6'7" | PF Batavia | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Ivan recently scored his first D2 offer from UW-Parkside and he looked every bit the part on Saturday when we saw him in Indy. The 6’7” face up four hits spot up threes with a feathery touch. His toughness was shown getting on the glass for put backs and taking his man off the bounce from the high-post on multiple occasions. Really nice weekend for him and more D2s should get involved.
Max Love Max Love 6'5" | SF St. Charle North | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Love is a versatile wing from St. Charles North that stuffs the stat sheet and always seems to be around the basketball. Shot it pretty well from three over the weekend from beyond the arc and on baseline jumpers. Mixed in some drives and rebounded well. High level versatile small forward at the small college level.
Austin Ambrose Austin Ambrose 6'9" | C Ba | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Ambrose is a 6’9” five man from Batavia that has a strong frame. Good area rebounder that snatches them in traffic. Cuts well away from the ball for scores going to the basket. At times can struggle finishing at the rim. Should be a nice small college post prospect.
Trey Keizer Trey Keizer 6'2" | SG Timothy Christian | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Plus shooter from Timothy Christian that has a lightning quick release. Moves well without the ball coming off screens for twos and threes. Crafty in the lane when he does try to score in the paint.
Billy Bach Billy Bach 6'5" | PF Lyons Township | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Bach has been one of the more impressive three point shooters on the circuit this spring. Shooter with size that has a quick release. Mixed in some drives including one off a shot fake where he went baseline. Really like him at the D3 level.
Brady Heckman Brady Heckman 6'1" | PG Benet Academy | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Heckman did a nice job running the show for his team. Active hands on the defensive end and had a spinning layup.
Matt Somerville Matt Somerville 6'6" | SF Whitney Young | 2022 State IL (South Cook Jaguars)
Somerville continues to open eyes this spring for the Jaguars. The 6’6” small forward has excellent positional size along with above average athleticism. He is usually good for at least one deep three a game. Versatile piece that will be a key for Whitney Young this season.
AJ Williams (South Cook Jaguars)
Williams has emerged this spring. An unknown from Whitney Young has shown to be a well rounded combo guard that can play on or off the ball. Good on straight line takes and if he gets a clean look can knock it down from distance. Small college gem.
Byron Hobbs (South Cook Jaguars)
Hobbs is the x-factor for this team. Rangy two guard that is a streaky player. He can go off in stretches, but also go cold. Quick burst and gets to the rim.
Devon Richardson (South Cook Jaguars)
Wide bodied five man that has a big frame. Like how nimble the Leo five man is on his feet for his size. Gets deep in the post for quick scores. Plays bully ball and likes to go to his right-handed hook shot.
Eli Aldana Eli Aldana 5'11" | PG St. Viator | 2023 State IL (Team NLP)
St. Viator point guard that emerged during the high school season. Pesky defender that likes to take them the other way for scores. Good three point shooter that has range on his shot. Small guard will be a nice D3 player.
Vaurice Patterson Vaurice Patterson 6'1" | PG Hamilton Heights | 2022 State TN (Team NLP)
Patterson has been a known name for several years now. The Schaumburg point guard has good strength and range on his shot to beyond the arc. Good pushing in transition putting his head down getting to the rim.
Camron Kincaid Camron Kincaid 6'1" | PG Springfield Lanphier | 2022 State IL (All-In Phenom)
Springfield Lanphier 6’1” point guard that is a slick passer. Showed that off on several explosive dishes that resulted in assists when we were watching. Good athlete.
Brylan Apholone Brylan Apholone 6'0" | PG Decatur MacArthur | 2022 IL (All-In Phenom)
Decatur MacArthur 6’0” point guard that can shoot it from deep. Quick and fluid shooting stroke!
