After previously covering Saturday and Sunday standouts I’ll organize the rest by state and grade level. Please note this was a big and deep event. This is by no means an exhaustive list or an all tournament team. That being said if I had to pick a tournament MVP……
MVP- Leland Walker Leland Walker 5'11" | PG North Central | 2022 VA 5-11 Put on an absolute show all weekend leading Team Teague to 4-0 record against stiff competition. Elite quickness, elevation, and ball handling ability. Standouts games were against the EG10 and Mac Irvin Fire squads that also featured Division 1 point guards. So he wasn’t doing this against nobodies. Having a great spring and his recruitment appears to be exploding. Did nothing nothing this past weekend to stem that momentum.
As you can see from above the entire Team Teague squad had an eye popping weekend and deserves special mention. I’ll briefly mention three
Caedmon Bontrager Caedmon Bontrager 6'8" | PF Leo | 2022 State IN 6-8 Elevation Prep (pictured at top of article) Bouncy post prospect who knew his role and filled it perfectly. Defend and run to the rim on offense and wait for Leland Walker Leland Walker 5'11" | PG North Central | 2022 VA to find you. Has good hands and seemed to snag everything in his area. Elevates quickly and had multiple dunks without the need of a gather power dribble.
Charlie Williams Charlie Williams 6'10" | PF Carmel | 2022 State #220 Nation IN 6-10 Carmel High level of ball skills in a 6-10 prospect. Not something you see every day. Showed a soft touch from the rim all the way out to three point line. Skinny but held his own against the Mac Irvin Fire and their huge frontline. A intriguing stretch four prospect at the next level.
Dayveon Turner Dayveon Turner 5'11" | PG Arsenal Tech | 2022 State IN 5-11 Arsenal Tech Lightning quick point guard who can also score. Due the presence of Walker played mostly off the ball. Not a problem as he was almost perfect from behind the arc in the games I viewed. Slid seamlessly into the point when needed. Showing quickness and a very tight handle.

Landen Babusiak Landen Babusiak 6'11" | C Bosco Institute/Indiana Connections Academy | 2022 State IN 6-9 Hanover Central Ran with Game Elite this weekend after starting the spring with Indiana Elite. Prospect who passes the eye test in a major way. A big, strong, and very skilled player. The production wasn’t quite there this weekend as it looked like he was still getting acclimated to his teammates. That being said if he got it around the rim it was a dunk. Also showed excellent passing ability for a player his size. Highlight was an on target long outlet pass to start a break on Saturday. Despite size gets out quickly in transition and had perhaps the finish the weekend off a lob on Saturday as well.
Ryan Conwell Ryan Conwell 6'2" | SG Pike | 2022 State #155 Nation IN 6-3 Pike A powerfully built stocky point guard prospect who was very impressive on Saturday. Went toe-to-toe with Leland Walker Leland Walker 5'11" | PG North Central | 2022 VA . Not a blur but uses size to penetrate at will. A drive and dish and drive and kick point guard. Excels at finding teammates both at the rim and out on the perimeter. Has a nice left handed stroke from deep. If I was college who needed a point guard I would be making way to Indy to catch Conwell and Walker
Shilo Jackson 6-9 North Central The recipient of many of Conwell’s assists I was very impressed with this post prospect. A quick leaper who finishes well around the rim. If he got it on the block it was going up and it was usually a dunk. Extremely long but also very skinny. Will need to add weight to his frame for the next level. That being said he showed a wiry strength that kept from getting pushed around underneath. Protected the rim with more than one big blocked shot. Good lateral quickness and previously mentioned length give him excellent potential on the defensive end.
Drew Adzia Drew Adzia 5'9" | PG Crown Point | 2022 State IN 5-9 Crown Point This list contains 3-4 point guards with a near elite athletic skill sets. That is not this player but still has a lot to like. Makes up for lack height with with an accurate outside shot that keeps defenses honest. Has a mature game and balanced running the offense with finding his own shot.
Layden Adair 6-0 Scecina Memorial I was able to catch this prospect on both Saturday and Sunday. His game grew on me as the weekend continued. What stands out initially is a strong upper body. Broad shoulders keep him from getting pushed around on the perimeter. This also allows to penetrate with force. While his team struggled a bit on the weekend never hung his head and continued to work hard.

Myles Colvin Myles Colvin 6'5" | SG Heritage Christian | 2023 State #51 Nation IN 6-5 Heritage Christian Versatile multi faceted forward showed a lot of potential. Standout game was on Sunday against Midwest Basketball Club. Showed his athleticism with explosive finishes at the rim including one highlight reel dunk. Is an excellent ball handler for size and always has his head up. Fits into the modern game as he kind plays positionless basketball. Has the quickness and handle to play in the backcourt, with the frame and strength to play down low. Next level bloodlines and his burgeoning skill make this a prospect to watch in the next two years.
Mason Jones Mason Jones 6'7" | PF Valparaiso | 2023 State IN 6-7 Valparaiso Played up a division with Indiana Game. As this shows he is a physically advanced forward. The presence of Landen Babusiak Landen Babusiak 6'11" | C Bosco Institute/Indiana Connections Academy | 2022 State IN allowed to slide to the four and drift out to perimeter a bit. Showed comfort and ability but also was not afraid to mix it up under the basket. Standout game was a Saturday victory against Athlete Headquarters. In winning time used his size against the smaller HQ squad to put the game away. Not a knockdown shooter yet but the mechanics are there. He will probably move into the three spot as he develops.
Zane Doughty Zane Doughty 6'8" | C Ben Davis | 2023 State IN 6-9 Ben Davis Colvin’s frontcourt running mate with equally tantalizing potential. Excellent measurables for a traditional back to the basket post. Long arms help him to play even taller than 6-9. Not rail thin and obviously knows where the weight room is. Light on his feet and moves well in pick and roll situations. Good finisher and doesn’t need much space to rise up for a dunk. Multiple two hand finishes on Sunday. Not the softest or most fluid perimeter shot. But I did see him hit a few from the free throw line in half court sets.
Kamari Slaughter Kamari Slaughter 6'2" | SG Cathedral | 2023 State IN 6-2 Portage Had a big weekend for 94 Feet Elite. I would classify him as power two guard. Has an extremely sturdy frame with long arms and broad shoulders. Uses this frame well and is an aggressive when he penetrates. When I saw him on Sunday he began most drives with a catch in the high post. While this worked well he was playing slightly out of position for squad that did not feature a lot of size. I imagine he is a nightmare matchup for traditional two guards.
