Javion Bostic Javion Bostic 6'2" | SG Winton Woods | 2023 State OH , Cincy Fire Elite 16 U 6’2 SG Walnut Hills (OH) Play-making was the key for Bostic as he found teammates against the CCB zone all game. Bostic drove to the paint and felt the defense collapse, finding the open man. In a team with plenty of scoring talent, it was nice seeing Bostic take a complimentary role and help his team finish 3-1 this weekend.
Romel Hightower Romel Hightower 6'5" | SF Toledo Start | 2023 State OH , CCB 16 U 6’5 SF Cardinal Stritch (OH) Hightower had a high scoring game in the tight loss to Cincy Fire Elite that we watched. Highlower had numerous put-back layups and scored well around the basket. Hightower is still developing a jumper but is an impressive open court athlete.
Elijah Turner Elijah Turner 6'1" | CG Moeller | 2023 OH , Cincy Royals 16 U 6’1 PG Moeller (OH) Turner provided a lot of rim pressure with attacks to the basket off the bounce. In control on offense, using pump fakes and patience. Cincy Royals shared the ball well on offense to get open looks, very balanced scoring from them in the game I saw Vs NEBC.
Hassan Robertson Hassan Robertson 6'4" | PF Princeton | 2023 OH , R4L 16 U 6’4 PF Princeton (OH) Undersized big man with some weight and muscle on him. A load in the paint to handle. Runs the floor well and gets himself open underneath the basket. Very productive player. Hit a half court shot to send the game against the Virginia Nets into overtime at the buzzer. Had 24 points to lead his team.
Lawrence Cole, Virginia Nets 16 U 6’3 PG Northside (VA) Cole is a very flashy passer from the point guard position. Has the height to see over the defense. Creative in transition with dishes to teammates. Plays with a ton of swagger. Liked watching him in transition with the ball in his hands.
