Top Performers:
Jullien Cole, 6’3 Guard, Pinecrest ℅ 2024:
The top performer for day one goes to Sandhills Machine Basketball 2024’s Jullien Cole. Cole is a 6’3 two-way guard from Pinecrest, NC. This kid came out with a lot of energy for his first game of the day. Cole would drop 14pts in the first half with his elite scoring and great shooting knocking down two early threes. After having a 10 point lead at the half, Cole would explode yet again with a tremendous offensive performance, scoring 16pts. He would finish with 30pts in a dominant win of 70-53 and crowned one of the day’s top performers.
Hayes Oxendine, 6’0 SG, Oxendine Academy ℅ 2025:
Oxendine and the East Carolina Elite kicked things off with the first game of the day. He came out blazing, knocking down five three-pointers in the first half and with some quick attacks to the basket. Oxendine can set his feet for a spot-up jumper or put the ball on the floor for a nice jumper off the dribble. This sharpshooter would finish the game nailing seven threes and a total of 25 points.
Jordan Jones Jordan Jones 6'3" | CG Kennesaw Mountain | 2021 State GA , 5’5 PG, Chapel Hill ℅ 2024:
Jones of the SOT/Nets 2024 is a crafty guard that can use his size to maneuver through the lane. Jones can slash to the basket past tough defenders with his quick handles and has a quick release that can leave a team shook. He plays with a lot of heart and energy. Jones is all about crashing the boards looking for another opportunity to score. In one of his best games, Jones dropped 26pts to get an overtime win.
Zundra Jackson Zundra Jackson 6'1" | PG Chattanooga Christian School | 2024 State TN , 5’11 PG, Christian Heritage ℅ 2024:
This Atlanta Allstars PG is a player that can run the offense. Jackson is at his best when he’s setting his teammates up with open looks. Then, when needed, he can use his quick handles and agility to attack the lane for a basket. In one of his games, Jackosn showed the art of drawing the foul and winning from the free-throw line. With only just scoring five points in the first half, he would go off for 19pts and the win. Jackson would finish with 24pts.
Cedrickus Williams, 5’11 Guard, Lanier ℅ 2024:
Williams of the ASE Elite is a prospect on the rise. He can attack the basket while finishing with contact. Williams’s first step makes him impossible to stop on the drive; his elite crossover is very swift that it can leave defenders stuck. With his smooth step-back jumper, Williams is also a threat around the perimeter. In a tough loss, he came through with some clutch baskets and defensive stops. With a chance of a game-winner, the ball just did not fall his way, but he put on an outstanding performance that earned my respect. He would finish with 28 points, drilling four threes.
