Will Starks Will Starks 6'4" | SF Kenosha Tremper | 2023 State WI — World Hoops Elite 16U — SF
Starks is a prospect that you are going to hear about a lot in the years to come. The talented small forward is a physically strong player that is able to muscle his way into the paint to get buckets. He also does a really great job at finding the right position so that he can snag rebounds. Starks tallied 12 points for WHE in a close win over PM South Showcase.
Noah Feddersen Noah Feddersen 6'9" | PF Menomonie | 2022 State WI — WI Playmakers 17U — PF
Feddersen has already done a lot to raise his stock this spring. And before the AAU season takes a break, the power forward wanted to make sure that scouts don’t forget how great he is. In a win for his team, Feddersen scored 16 points and was absolutely dominant in the paint. He scored, rebounded, and blocked shots on Saturday.
Darrien Long Darrien Long 6'5" | PF Racine Horlick | 2022 State WI — Gallo Sports Center 17U — PF
I think Long is a prospect that is going to start to get some interest from top college programs. And after his play on Saturday, it is very easy to see why. The power forward out of Racine Horlick doesn’t give up an inch in the paint. He is able to use his atheism and size to throw down some impressive dunks.
Mike Erbeck — IBA Illinois Stars 17U — SG
Erbeck is going to give a lot of opposing coaches headaches due to his shot-making ability. On Saturday, the Illinois Stars SG was not going to be slowed down. He nailed catch and shoot threes and converted on jumpers off the dribble. He really could do no wrong. Erbeck is an unsigned senior in Illinois’ 2021 class.
Devin Griffin Devin Griffin 5'10" | PG Westosha Central | 2022 State WI — World Hoops Elite 17U — PG
In a win for World Hoops Elite , Griffin raised his stock and scored 14 points. The point guard is a speedy prospect that is able to slash to the rim and convert on contested layups. I also saw something in Griffin as a defender. He played aggressive on-ball defense, which put a lot of pressure on the opposing team’s primary ball-handler.
Jamisen Young Jamisen Young 6'0" | PG Sunrise Christian Academy | 2023 KS — World Hoops Elite 16U — PG
It is truly a pleasure to watch Young run World Hoops Elite ‘s offense. The point guard is a tremendous ball-handler who can push the pace and find open teammates. As a scorer, Young is very dangerous when he drives into the paint. He is able to find creative ways to finish around contact. The PG has also shown more of a willingness to let it fly from deep.
L.J. Wells L.J. Wells 6'5" | SF Eau Claire Memorial | 2022 State WI — WI Playmakers 17U — SF
Wells is definitely a prospect that college programs need to track in Wisconsin’s 2022 class. As a 6-foot-7 small forward, Wells has great positional size, which he can use to rebound and score in the paint. On Saturday, he started the game with a big dunk and then went on to do a lot of the dirty work for his team.
Kenny Garth Kenny Garth 6'2" | CG Westosha Central | 2022 State WI — World Hoops Elite 17U — SG
When he has the ball in his hands, there are not many prospects that are harder to stop. Defenders have such a difficult time slowing down the World Hoops Elite shooting guard because of his ability to score at all three levels. Garth is a smooth slasher, knockdown mid-range shooter, and very reliable from three when open.
