He still has some work to do such as: developing a post game and getting stronger but we like the fact that he can run the floor fairly well and he showed some flashes of what he can be.
NL Disciples Elite Guard Lewis Duarte Lewis Duarte 6'6" | CG Huntington Prep | 2022 NC was another player that helped to raise his stock with some outstanding performances during the event which included a 34 Point, 5 Rebound & 5 Assist showing against Big Shots SC. The 6’6 Guard showed that he can get to his spots just about whenever he wants and he has the ability to excel at either Guard spot due to his skillset, size and overall IQ for the game. Creighton is the most recent school to offer him a scholarship and he’s added interest from school such as Kentucky.
Team Loaded Guard Freddie Dilione Freddie Dilione 6'6" | SG Word of God | 2023 #37 Nation NC continues to prove himself as a natural scorer that can put the ball in the bucket against tough competition and in big time games. Although he can shoot the trey ball at a pretty solid rate, we would classify him as more of a slasher at this point. He understands how to use his first step as well as quick jabs and fakes to get inside the paint for buckets. One game in particular that impressed us was his showing against Midwest Basketball Cub in the 2nd round where Dilione went for 17 Points and made some big plays on both ends down the stretch to help his team win and advance.
Rockit Sports Wing Sincere Moore finished third in scoring in the 17U Blue division, averaging just under 25 Points per game and leading his team to the Division Championship. The lefty knocked down the outside shot with efficiency, capitalizing on any open opportunity he was given which only helped his team to continue to roll offensively.
Carolina Riptide Guard Cole Callaway Cole Callaway 6'4" | SG Lake Norman | 2023 State NC is a three point specialist that does a nice job of moving without the ball and placing himself in proper spacing to get open looks. He understands his role and doesn’t try to do things outside of his comfort zone, knocking down a high amount of three point shots throughout the event which is exactly what his team needed from him.
Carolina Riptide Forward Trey Ramsey Trey Ramsey 6'8" | PF West Caldwell | 2022 State NC should see his stock rise if he continues to play the way he has played during the Spring so far. The 6’8 Forward brings a nice blend of skillset, versatility & physicality to the court, which are all attributes that colleges love. He can step out and score the ball on the perimeter but is just as effective in the paint, playing through contact and finishing inside.
