Donavan Clinton — E1T1 Premier — SF
Playing on a solid E1T1 Premier squad, I really liked what Clinton was able to do this past weekend. The 6-foot-6 small forward was able to rebound well, find open teammates, and score in the paint. A lot of E1T1’s success can be attributed to Clinton’s willingness to complete the small tasks necessary for victory.
Darrien Long Darrien Long 6'5" | PF Racine Horlick | 2022 State WI — Gallo Sports Center — PF
Long already is a top prospect in Wisconsin’s 2022 class. But after his performance at Battle at the Lakes, I think that Long deserves a higher ranking. The 6-foot-6 power forward is a physical, strong, athletic prospect that defenders will have a really hard time slowing down when he gets into the paint. If Long is able to keep improving, top college programs will need to take notice.
Aiden Rock — Quad City High School Prep — SF
Rock was a really tough prospect for defenders to slow down at Battle at the Lakes. The 6-foot-4 small forward did a great job of getting to the rim and putting a lot of pressure on defenders. When he got deep into the paint, Rock was able to use his athletic ability and size to finish contested layups.
Famious French Famious French 6'6" | SF Bloomington | 2022 State IL — Illinois HoopStars — SF
Fench was one of the best overall prospects that competed this past weekend in Minnesota. The Illinois HoopStars small forward is able to use his 6-foot-6 frame to finish at the rim. With good positional size and athletic ability, French is a matchup nightmare for just about any defender. French could be a really good college player if he ends up at the right school.
Colton Hall — PM Premier — SF
On Saturday, I was extremely impressed by Hall’s dominance in the paint on both sides of the court. He scored well on offense and influenced shots on defense. Then on the final day of the tournament, Hall showed that he is able to step outside and knock down shots. In a win, the small forward made multiple three-point shots and showed his versatility.
Thomas Diew — Hustle Hard MN — PF
I think that Hustle Hard MN has a really great prospect in Diew. The 6-foot-8 power forward prospect is a strong, athletic prospect that can use his size to become a real problem in the paint. In a really close loss to Minnesota Heat, the PF tallied 18 points on five made field goals.
Zach Erwin Zach Erwin 6'6" | SF Camanche | 2022 State IA — Iowa Mavs Grey — SF
Erwin is a talented 6-foot-6 small forward that can do a lot of impressive things on the offensive end of the court. He is a strong-bodied prospect that is able to use his size and strength to score well in the paint. He may not be a knockdown shooter, but Erwin makes up for his lack of shooting with his scoring touch around the rim.
