Morrison is a big, 6-4 wing with an effortless stroke and good length. He has limitless range, is ready to shoot on the catch, and is a good ball-handler who handles the ball quite a bit for PM North. He sees the floor really well and gets others involved, and with his size, he can get his shot off pretty much whenever he wants.
2022 Stephen Kesti (MSP Elite/Spring Lake Park)
Kesti is a 6-7 stretch-4 who showed the ability to score inside and out. With his size, he’ll get his shot off against pretty much anyone, and he showed an impressive, smooth stroke with range well beyond the high school line. He’s also someone that teams can play through with his passing in the high post.
2022 Jackson Weier (MSP Elite/Spring Lake Park)
Weier showcased both his lead guard skills and his scoring guard skills in MSP’s win over MN Select. He plays really well in the pick-and-roll as both a passer and shooter, showing the ability to thread the needle on passes to the roll man, or pop behind the screen and knock down a 3. He can make tough, off-balance shots, and is an equally adept shooter off the dribble or the catch.
2022 Bryce Joerger (Minnesota Heat Wynia/Richfield)
Joerger moves really well off the ball and has a quick release off the catch with a smooth, repeatable stroke. A 6-1 off-ball guard who can really fill it up when he gets going.
2022 Ben Erickson (Minnesota Heat Wynia/Mounds View)
Erickson impressed with the way that he utilized ball fakes to open up space in the defense. He took advantage of aggressive closeouts by giving a little up-fake to get the defender jumping, then took a little side dribble and knocked down 3 after 3.
2022 Drake Gomez (E1T1 Premier/Irondale)
Gomez is a knockdown shooter who really benefits from playing on an E1T1 team that is filled with players who like to attack the rim. Gomez floats to the corners and gets open looks time after time. He’s got a quick release and he absolutely caught fire in their win over Heat Wynia, barely making the net move on his makes.
2023 Nate Dahl (MN Comets Gagner/Buffalo)
A 6-0 guard, Dahl was perhaps the best of this bunch shooting off the dribble. He does an excellent job using his dribble and footwork to create space to get his shot off.
2022 Noah Deets (MN Select Larkin/Edina)
Deets is a talented shooter who moves well off the ball, has great range, and a smooth stroke off the catch. He knocked down a number of catch-and-shoot 3s in MN Select’s loss to Starks Elite.
