Aiden Rock Aiden Rock 6'4" | SG United Township | 2022 State IL (Quad City HS Prep)
United Township 6’4” shooting guard presents excellent size on the perimeter and Rock can really shoot the “rock”. Plus spot up threat that has a clean shot off the catch.
Cameron Lewis Cameron Lewis 6'3" | PG DePaul Prep | 2021 State IL (Quad City HS Prep)
Moline 6’0” point guard has slick handles and makes quick passes in the lane. Made a couple of jumpers keeping the defense off balance.
Chakaris London (Next Generation Blue)
London opened eyes with a strong performance. The 6’2” athletic two guard from Homewood Flossmoor is a good slasher with length that plays on the defensive end getting steals and turning them into points on the other end.
Tavari Johnson Tavari Johnson 6'0" | PG Lyons Township | 2022 State #171 Nation IL (Y&R/KL Power 5)
Johnson was excellent once again living up to his mid-major status. The floor general was silky smooth around ball screens like always. Manipulates them and gets what he wants out of them with his passing and pull up shot. Shifty ball handler in tight spaces. Gets in the lane for sweeping floaters over taller defenders. Crisp jump shooter that nailed them consistently all weekend.
Justin Mullins Justin Mullins 6'4" | SF Oak Park-River Forest | 2022 State IL (Y&R/KL Power 5)
Mullins went for 41 points in one game over the weekend. He continues to see his stock rise with strong events one after another. The OPRF wing is an explosive finisher in the open floor along with converting quick dishes in the half court. Capable shooter from distance and is a plus defender who got several key stops when needed.
Damari Wheeler-Thomas Damari Wheeler-Thomas 6'0" | PG Larkin | 2022 State IL (Y&R/KL Power 5)
Wheeler-Thomas was the standout in their win over Breakaway. Good pull up shooter that always seems to be in rhythm pulling up off the bounce for threes. Shot it very consistently all weekend. Good passing feel and brings quickness to the table. Low-major prospect!
Xavier Lewis Xavier Lewis 6'7" | PF Tf South | 2022 State IL (Y&R/KL Power 5)
Lewis is one of the more intriguing power forwards in the Illinois senior class with his athletic pop around the rim on both ends. Shot blocking presence defensively and on the other end he finishes dump off passes along with rim running. Mixes in an occasional hook shot.
Gabe Madej Gabe Madej 6'5" | SF Fenwick | 2022 State IL (Y&R/KL Power 5)
Madej is an excellent glue guy that fits in whatever spot he is needed. Gritty rebounder and brings toughness on the boards in the paint. Decent ball handling skills were shown on a shot fake and drive. Also is a sound spot up shooter from his small forward spot.
Marquel Saleek Marquel Saleek 5'9" | PG Willowbrook | 2022 State IL (Illinois Hoopstars)
Really liked what we have seen out this Willowbrook combo guard over the last month. Broad shouldered and athletic guard that is a silky smooth scorer from multiple levels. Feathery pull up game from beyond the arc. Plays well off ball screens and is creative with the rock in his hands.
Matt Somerville Matt Somerville 6'6" | SF Whitney Young | 2022 State IL (South Cook Jaguars)
This 6’6” Whitney Young small forward is a plus spot up shooter that has college range on his shot. Arc on it and good mechanics. Combines his positional size and shot with good athleticism in the open floor being able to throw down jams. Saw a passing feel especially in transition that we hadn’t previously seen from him. Can guard an array of positions.
AJ Williams (South Cook Jaguars)
Williams is an emerging shooting guard from Whitney Young that should be a key role player for the Dolphins this season. Nice combination of skill and strength at the off guard spot. Most impressive play was a steal and long outlet on the money. Capable spot up shooter and solid on ball defender.
Koen Derry Koen Derry 6'7" | PF Galesburg | 2022 State IL ( Archangels )
Been about 10 months since we have seen this 6’7” face up four from Galesburg. He looks to have grown over the last year and added more strength. Runs the court very well and can put it on the deck from the high-post attacking with burst off a couple dribbles. Finished at the rack through contact well. Good rebounder.
Corbin Rutledge Corbin Rutledge 6'5" | SF Farmington | 2022 State IL ( Archangels )
New name that emerged here in this Farmington 6’5” small forward. Won off the bounce on slashes to the hoop and was able to post up smaller defenders. Good athlete that also crashed the offensive glass for second chance points.
