Ryan Warren Ryan Warren 6'2" | SG Eden Prairie | 2022 State MN — SG — E1T1 Preimer — 2022
Warren kicked off the day by putting a ton of pressure on the opposing team’s defense. The shooting guard was slashing to the rim relentlessly, drawing fouls and finishing contested layups. Warren proved that he can do work outside of the paint also, as he drained some three-point jumpers. The E1T1 Premier SG was no-doubt one of the best scorers in the gym on Friday.
Donovan Clinton — PF — E1T1 Preimer — 2022
A lot of E1T1’s success can be attributed to Clinton. The 6-foot-6 power forward started the game by doing all of the little things. He set up his teammates nicely with some passes and played outstanding defense. After doing the small stuff in the first period, Clinton started to warm up as a scorer. He got into the paint and used his size to finish layups at the rim in the second half.
Drake Gomez — SG — E1T1 Preimer — 2022
When Gomez gets an open shot, there is a good chance that the ball will find the bottom of the net. The shooting guard has a pure stroke from deep, and it was on display on Friday night. In E1T1’s win, the shooting guard knocked down some tough jumpers, and even made some heavily contested layups.
Jamari Smith Jamari Smith 6'4" | SF Hempstead | 2021 State IA — SG — Iowa Mavs — 2021
Smith was a very efficient scorer last night for the Iowa Mavs. The guard got good looks and recorded makes at all three levels. The 2021 shooting guard didn’t take bad shots, which helped keep his team in rhythm on offense. Smith scored 16 points on seven made field goals.
Darrien Long Darrien Long 6'5" | PF Racine Horlick | 2022 State WI — PF — Gallo Sports Center — 2022
When Long gets into the paint, he immediately becomes a really big problem for whoever is guarding him. The power forward is strong, athletic, and crafty when he catches the ball on the block. Long had a couple of big-time dunks, which brought out huge reactions from his bench. Long scored 18 points in Gallo Sports Center’s blowout win.
Zach Erwin Zach Erwin 6'6" | SF Camanche | 2022 State IA — SF — Iowa Mavs — 2022
Using his size and strength to get to his spots, Erwin was really impressive as a scorer in the Mavs’ one-sided win on Friday night. Erwin made a three early in the first half and then decided to go to work in the paint, as he scored six two-point field goals to close the game. The small forward put up 17 points in the winning effort.
Thomas Goates — G — AZ Junior Ballers — 2022
Even though his team really struggled in a loss to Minnesota Magic, Goates tallied 19 points on two made threes. The guard made some really tough shots from different angles all over the floor. Goates is definitely a prospect that college coaches need to keep an eye on.
