The PrepHoops Circuit season continued this weekend in Phoenix, AZ with the Bash in the Desert. The event took place at Inspire courts, Friday, April 30th through Sunday, May 2nd, and showcased a total of 67 teams ranging from ages 15 to 17U. The event also showcased several very intelligent players. In this article, we take a look at some of the top high academic players from the event.

Talmage Stucki 5'11 PG Idaho Premier BST 2023 - Stucki isn't simply brains, he also is a heck of a player. The PG shot the ball well this weekend for IP and had a couple of big scoring games including a 25 point performance. In the classroom, he sports a 3.8 GPA.

Dalton Peterson 6'3 CG Wyoming Power 2021 - Peterson was one of my favorite Combo guards to watch. There shouldn't be much of a surprise that he multi-task so well. The high IQ cerebral guard is a 4.0 student that has signed with Casper College.

Cory Wood 6'6 SF Team RHJ 2023 (featured image) - Wood could have very easily made my top Snipers list. The 6'6 wing was automatic all weekend including putting up a 22 point effort
