Team Bison & New Hanover Senior Quintell Waddell continued his stellar play, scoring the ball at a high level once again, leading his team with 30 Points which brings his average to 28 PPG. Waddell understands how to get to his spots and has spent some time over the years on the football field which you can see by the way he is able to play through contact.
Team Aggies & Pender HS Senior Josef Fulwood has slowly but surely made his case as one of the top unsigned seniors in ENC and week 4 only helped his case. He understands how to use his athleticism on both ends of the floor and didn’t settle for the outside shot, finishing with 29 Points and a win for his team.
Team Bears & Harrells Christian Junior Wing Tyrone Barbee Tyrone Barbee 6'6" | SF Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC is a prospect that we are excited about and if you didn’t understand why already, week 4 was just a glimpse of some of the potential he possess. Scoring from multiple levels and putting together some highlights above the rim, he finished with 20 Points and proved his case once again as a college prospect.
Team Bulldogs & Southeast Homeschool Junior Guard Brantley Springer is a name to keep an eye on over the next few months and into next season. He has the ability to impact the game in numerous ways, scoring, rebounding and probably his most impressive attribute is his passing ability. At about 6’3 he can take on the scoring role as a SG or take on the playmaking role as a PG.
Team Bears Junior Guard Dee Barnett is a name that you should already know after some impressive performances during his freshman and sophomore seasons at New Hanover. During week 4 we got the chance to see some of the reasons why he is a player that is proving his ability to play on the next level due to his scoring ability and toughness.
