The All-Star game selections recently took place as well, with the game taking place last week. So let’s dive right in and take a look at a few players that stood out and will be prospects at the next level.
2024 Guard Eric Mosley is a young talent that you will definitely want to keep an eye on as he has shown what he can potentially be. He took home ’’ Rookie Of The Year’’ honors and has been impressive with how well he is able to compete with players that are three to four years older. During the All-Star game he provided the offense that his team needed, leading his team with 21 Points in the contest.
2023 Wing Abrahm Driver Abrahm Driver 6'7" | PF Bull City Prep | 2023 State NC has been consistent game in and game out, averaging 21 PPG and leading his team to one of the best records in the league. During the All-Star game we got the chance once again to see what makes him a prospect that colleges will want to have on their list. He plays the game at his own pace, understands how to use his size to his benefit and can impact games in multiple ways.
2021 Wing Gregory Bowden has been on a mission all season long, playing with a high amount of strength and intensity on a nightly basis. He led all scorers in the ASG with 27 Points, attacking the paint play after play which would lead to him taking home the Game MVP honors.
2022 Wing Tyrone Barbee Tyrone Barbee 6'6" | SF Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC looked like he was dealing with some knee discomfort but managed to fight thru it and still show some flashes of his talent. The 6’5 prospect has a long wingspan, nice athletic ability and can score it on multiple levels.
2022 Forward/Center Bradlee Wolf Bradlee Wolf 6'8" | C Northwood Temple Academy | 2023 NC could be a player that small schools at the next could potentially bring in as a project type of player. He has legit height which is something that can’t be taught, is a high academic student, and made some plays inside the paint.
2021 Guard Tyquan Williamson is a player that you have to like simply based off of his speed and acceleration which would be great for an up-tempo style offense. Constantly attacking the defense and pushing the pace before they can get set, he can get your squad some easy buckets in transition in a hurry.
2021 Guard Josef Fullwood Josef Fullwood 6'3" | SF Pender | 2021 State NC is one of the better two way players that’s still left on the board, with D3, D2 and JC programs all showing interest. He made plays above the rim on both ends of the court and was one of the more unselfish players that we saw on the day.
2021 Guard Gavin Guion Gavin Guion 6'2" | CG Cape Fear Academy | 2021 State NC showed some of his high flying ability as well as some impressive shooting range as he pulled up for some deep treys during the ASG. His ability to score off the catch and off the bounce combined with his athleticism should help make his transition to the next level fairly smooth.
