He played an exceptional game inside, with good face ups, post ups, and footwork to score 21pts, and help out on the board.
Best Unsigned Senior:
T.j. Meagher 6’3 CG of Dublin. He had the hot hand early scoring 10pts in the first qtr. He showed good command of the offense, he found multiple players on the cut to the basket, good vision finding teammates for back door passes. He has good quickness, and handles, making his move towards the basket. Oh yeah he can shoot! Five, 3ptrs for 30pts tops in this game.
Most Versatile Player:
Caleb Oden Caleb Oden 6'5" | PF Dublin | 2021 State CA-N 6’5 W/F of Dublin. He just recently signed with Nevada Reno. Oden is just starting to scratch the surface of what he can do on the court. He’s a long athletic player with a calmness to his game. He scored inside with good strong moves around the basket, he hit the outside shot, and drove it inside. He’ll defend and rebound. Two 3’s, 18pts.

Top Sophomores in the game: There’s Three of Them
Courtney Anderson Courtney Anderson 6'4" | SG Dublin | 2023 State #151 Nation CA-N Jr. 6’5 Shooting Guard 2023. The transfer from Salesian Prep gives Dublin a bonified shooting threat from the outside. There’s no question he’s still growing, and will get stronger. When he puts it all together he’ll be one of the better shooters in NorCal. His all around game is on the upswing, he gives good effort. two 3’s, 14pts.
6th Man Award:
Derek Sangster Derek Sangster 6'7" | SF Archbishop Mitty | 2023 State #213 Nation CA-N 6’7 W/F of Mitty. 2023. You can’t go see Mitty, and not notice the upside Sangster brings to the court. We featured him last week , and now he’s at it again. His length causes problem, he’s active going after rebounds, he runs the court, he’s got a good shot on the outside. Continued strengthening for this 2023.
Top Defender in The Game:
Donovan Cooks 6’1 PG of Dublin 2023. So look, he didn’t shut down the DI player going to Pepperdine, but he made him work for everything he got. He has a good set of offensive skills to balance his game. He can run a offense, take care of the ball, use his handles to get inside, using floaters and pull ups. He can score off the ball. 11pts,
The Sleeper:
Zachariah Granberry 6’6 W/F of Mitty. Unsigned Senior. He doesn’t get much attention in the game until he makes something good happen, with all the other top players on Mitty, Granberry is quietly being a productive player on this team. He’s a solid body, he’ll rebound, defend, and be physical inside. He may or may not score, but he works while on the court. In this game he added something we hadn’t seen before. He hit jumpers. He had three 3’s. 11pts.
The Project:
Thomas Labat 6’7 PF of Dublin. The good thing is he’s a 2022 with another year to work on his game at this level. He’s a solid body who hustles, and plays hard. The lefty has a hitch in his jump shot but he did make an elbow jumper for his only 2pts of the game. He came off the bench and battled with the Mitty bigs, as best he could. With more skill work in the off season. We’ll keep an eye on him.
