Brady Keuhl 6’6 Gateway-Knights: The young Stretch 4 from Parkway West has been quite a revelation this spring with his ability to shoot the ball from 3-point range consistently. He also displayed a nice turnaround jumper in the post and the ability to score off the dribble when defenders closed out on him. He helped his team win the 16U championship.
Kanyon Hummel Kanyon Hummel 6'9" | PF Rock Bridge | 2023 State MO 6’8 Missouri Elite: The post player from Rock Bridge continued his strong play in the spring with another big weekend. He continues to make big strides in his play as he is confident in his ability to score in the post any time he catches the ball. He can also step out and hit the 15-footer off the catch. He’s starting to attract more double teams and his passing has improved to combat them.
Lucas Lyons Lucas Lyons 6'8" | PF Lone Jack | 2023 State MO 6’7 Missouri Hawks: It was my first time seeing this young post from Lone Jack in live action and was impressed with his size and mobility. He has good moves inside and a nice jump hook to finish. He runs the court well and he plays with a lot of activity at both ends.
Cade Sutton Cade Sutton 6'5" | SF Bunker | 2023 State MO 6’4 Gateway: A talented combo forward from small school Bunker who displayed plenty of bounce during the weekend. They love to run alley-oop plays for him and he delivers by throwing down impressive dunks. He handles it well and he can shoot the ball from 3-point range. He can also handle himself in the post.
Quin Blackburn Quin Blackburn 6'7" | PF Pacific | 2023 State MO 6’7 Missouri Basketball Club: A much improved post player from Pacific who can score with a variety of moves in the paint. He has excellent footwork and he can score with either hand inside. His up-and-under move is impressive and he can also step out and hit the open jumper. He runs well and he can also challenge shots in the paint.
Ethan Wiley Ethan Wiley 6'5" | PF Battle | 2023 State MO 6’5 Missouri Elite: A beefy power forward from Battle who plays a very physical game in the post. He is a excellent rebounder who will stake out his real estate inside and attack the ball or he can also get out of his own area to corral rebounds. He is a solid offensive player inside, but I was also impressed with his motor and his willingness to dive on the floor and get to loose balls.
