The top players in this region will put their talents on display once again when the 2021-22 season begins later in the Fall.
Vinay Singh | 6-4 PF | LaFayette
Singh is a powerful scorer on the court that possesses great court awareness and has a high knowledge of the game. The incoming senior can score from anywhere on the floor and led the area in scoring last season.
Headed into his final year of high school, Singh could be one of the top players in all of Class 2A to watch.
Tyler Craft | 6-3 F | Ranburne
Craft is a sensational big man that can draw up open shot attempts for his teammates off the pick and roll.
The incoming senior can also attack the glass at both ends of the floor and come down with rebounds. In terms of scoring, Craft can drive to the basket and challenge taller post players at the rim.
Caden Story | 6-5 F | Lanett
Story is a top notch post player that has great size and can do a little of everything. He can attack the glass and find a way to score with the ball in his hands. On the pick and roll, he excels at taking the pass and the finding an open teammate if a contested shot is in front of him.
On defense, Story is a sensational defender that can face up on any ball handler and force them to pass out or challenge him towards the rim.
Bryant Story Jr. | 5-10 PG, SG | Lanett
Story is an excellent two way player that plays both point guard and shooting guard. He can take control of his team and find a way to score a quick bucket in crucial situations late in any game. Story is excellent on the perimeter and can hit a spot up three pointer at any time.
He can also drive towards the basket and finish with a nice lay up or hesitate and hit a stepback jumper over a defender.
Cartavious Silmon | 6-1 SG, SF | LaFayette
Silmon is another LaFayette star in the making. He had a terrific junior year in 2020, in which he averaged 9.5 points per game and shot 48% from the floor and 60% at the free throw line.
Silmon is an excellent scorer that can get his team a quick bucket at any point during the game.
