But the top players in the area could put forth solid scoring seasons in 2021-22.
Jaquez Pritchett | 5-11 SG | Clarke County HS
Pritchett finished as the top junior in Area 4 last season.
The incoming senior is a terrific scorer that can take any game into his own hands in crucial moments. He has a sensational offensive game and can score from anywhere on the court.
Justin Galliard | 6-2 F | Clarke County HS
Galliard is a phenomenal post player in Area 4. The 6’2″ forward is solid at running the pick and roll then dashing towards the rim to get an open shot attempt.
He can challenge defenders down low at both ends of the court and is an exceptional rebounder.
Micah Jones | 5-11 G | Leroy HS
Jones was only a sophomore last season, but stood out on his team.
The incoming junior guard has great size and speed on the court. He can run the fast break off a defensive turnover and can score at ease from anywhere on the floor when his team has the ball.
Jamieson Turner | 5-6 G | Washington County HS
Turner might end up as the best overall player for Washington County High in 2021-22.
The incoming senior guard is a sensational playmaker that can force defenders to challenge him when driving to the rim. He can cross over defenders and drive to the lane or step back for an open jumper.
Jammarian Johnson | 6-0 SF | Clarke County HS
Johnson is a terrific scorer on the court. Last season, he averaged just five points per game, but shot 42 percent from the floor and 71 percent at the free throw line.
Heading into his senior year, Johnson’s playing time will likely increase and in return, his points average will too.
