Brigham Rogers Brigham Rogers 6'7" | PF Depaul Prep | 2023 State GA | PF | 6-8 | Atlanta All-Stars | Blessed Trinity
Perhaps no player at A-Town affected the games without scoring a ton as Rogers, but that’s his M-O right now as he is one of the ATL-Metro’s top shot-blockers and rebounders, domination in those two areas as he so often does means his offensive game (one which is on the verge and has prowess right around the basket and out to 15 feet) takes him to the next level, smart, savvy and well-schooled he is set for a monster rise of a junior season.
Mason Etter Mason Etter 6'5" | SF Etowah | 2023 State GA | SG/SF | 6-5 | Atlanta All-Stars | Etowah
Like Rogers can affect a game without posting big offensive numbers per say, the hustle rebounding, sound decision-making, all are hallmarks of Etter’s impressive all-around package, when he does get into offensive mode it’s fun to watch as he employs a series of floaters and mid-range jumpers that harken back to another era, his 3-point shooting has taken a monster step and that in his arsenal plus some growth to near 6-5 makes him one heck of a matchup problem.
David Hansraj David Hansraj 6'0" | CG River Ridge | 2023 State GA | CG | 6-1 | GA Stars Select | River Ridge
Among the weekend’s most outstanding scoring performers, has gained a ton of confidence and has embraced a #1 scoring role for the Stars when on the floor, got hot from 3 in the entertaining OT game with All-Stars, slick and crafty off the bounce and has added muscle to make that slash aspect a much more dangerous weapon, can play PG and run a team if needed.
Josh Daniels | SG | 6-0 | Atlanta Select Prime | Cedar Grove (pictured above)
Good length at the guard spot, a real slasher who loves to get downhill into contact, crafty set of moves and a nice jump shot, excellent out in space either reading the break or coming off the wing, great fighter on the glass from the guard spot, active defender.
Adonijah Green | C | 6-6 | Atlanta Select Prime | Cedar Grove
CGHS was well-represented on the club and Green got better and better over the weekend, an absolute eraser at the basket and dominant rebounder, long arms allow him to excel at both, got more comfortable scoring in close off the catch as the weekend rolled on.
Chase Lawrence Chase Lawrence 5'10" | CG Lithinia | 2023 GA | PG | 5-10 | Atlanta Select Prime | Lithonia
Good-looking natural PG with an all-around skillset to be admired, really takes care of the ball well and makes strong decisions, excellent burst to the hole, unselfish but efficient when he goes after his own O, elite on-ball defender.
Damonte Pellot Damonte Pellot 6'3" | PG North Cobb | 2023 State GA | SG | 6-0 | SBT Johnson | North Cobb
Pure wing scorer be it attacking with the dribble or launching 3s, good length and stride gives him some blow-by ability, a nice athlete that can get off the deck to the rim, versatile defender and an active rebounder, one to watch among a large group of SBT 2023 risers ( Jalan Johnson Jalan Johnson 5'10" | PG North Cobb | 2023 State GA , Kyan Bullock, Max Fraser, Gio Harris, Terrell Reeves, Justin Patrick) set to make waves for North Cobb next winter.
Shamarrie Hugie Shamarrie Hugie 6'5" | SF Beach | 2023 State GA | SG | 6-4 | Georgia Ignites | Beach
(From Kyle Sandy) – Strong athlete that can play above the rim, impressed most with outside shooting particularly from 3-pt territory, can be a mismatch with his size both inside and out on the perimeter, one of the most entertaining players to watch in transition all weekend.
Vasean Moody | PF | 6-6 | Tri-City Elite | Spencer
Big body but showed nimble feet around the basket, strong finisher, loved seeing him step out and knock down the 15-footer, hit the glass hard and played the same kind of spirited defense you expect from a Tri-City club, teamed with Jhalienne Drake for an intriguing and effective big-man duo.
